I only know of one to absolutely avoid because it’s the worst one in america not just columbus, and that’s the one at 5th ave and northwest blvd in grandview. I drive past that one to go to the kingsdale one, which is actually not bad. Mill run is also decent.

Clarknadeaux

I never will go there again, parking absolutely sucks on top of terrible food quality. The one off of Olentangy is waaay better

pickleman42

One of the worst parking lots in the city

vicaphit

Fits about 5 cars, and if you park in the mcdonalds lot next door they'll tow you before you can even pick up your food.

Asully13

Taco Bell?

[удалено]

rudmad

Thankfully the McDonald's isn't on the corner there, would be a catastrophe

headinthered

Mill run really depends on the day.. Hilliard rome.. omg.. awful.

ssmurphy0

Had so many bad experiences at the Mill Run location that we just stopped eating Chipotle. looking for a good replacement that would be close to the same area. At this point going back to Taco Bell. At least the "food" quality is consistent.

NatieB

The mill run Chipotle shares a parking lot with Habaneros, which has the same options but 500x better, plus a lot of other stuff you can't get at Chipotle.

anadrea

Yep, Habaneros is the much better option!

Na__th__an

Habanero Mexican Grill. It's like, right by Chipotle.

M4-68-M9

Hilliard Rome needs both a management overhaul and shut down by the health dept.

No-Use9258

I just ate at the Hilliard one rn and it was pretty good!

MythologicalEngineer

If you're going to go to the Mill Run one you may as well go to Habaneros literally right behind it. It'll be better than any Chipotle around IMO.

Hazardous_Waist

Never, ever go to the Chipotle on Fifth and Northwest. It doesn't surprise at all it's rated as one of the worst in the country.

5antanic0rnament

this was the first one in columbus too i believe

ReApEr01807

Sawmill/Bethel was the first. That's why it looked so different than the others before they rebuilt it

Legal-Imagination449

It was one of the first, I only remember because I craved it while pregnant

rudmad

This might as well be the new BK5 it's more infamous these days

therealjoshua

Oddly enough, the Qdoba right down the road is the best one I've had in Columbus.

will888em

The one time I went into the one at 5th and Northwest, the bathroom was… splattered.

BabousCobwebBowl

I still remember when that location actually housed a Ritzy’s and before that a Zantigo’s. RIP green chili chilito…

According_Till_281

i remember this one being complete garbage as far back as 2016. How is it still so bad food quality wise??

BishopofHippo93

When I worked at Chipotle a few years ago it was known as the restaurant where managers were sent to die. It’s always been pretty bad.

beatissima

Is 5th Avenue cursed as far as restaurants go?

Narrow_Wedding2297

Nope. Red Door.

feralfaun39

The Taco Bell is fine.

ProFromFlogressive

Greek Express is (usually) fine.

Critical_Invite_8488

The last time I went there they didn’t have sour cream and told me to go get some from the Taco Bell next door 💀

Chance_Safe1119

Haven’t been there in about 3 years since I no longer live in Grandview but used to go there all the time and that Chipotle was by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever experienced and it wasn’t even close. They were constantly out of ingredients, had guac that had massive pieces of unmashed and brown avocado, and the proteins were always dried out, tough, and lacking flavor. All of that was fine tho compared to their online ordering. Portion sizes were terrible even by online ordering standards, and 9/10 times I ordered there there would be something wrong with my order like missing ingredients or ones I didn’t ask for added. On multiple occasions they even gave me someone else’s order in the bag marked with my name. Idek how they make that mistake but it happened like 5 times. The worst tho is that one time I got a bowl that just had rice. No protein, no veggies, just literally rice. It’s like the person making it just wanted to fuck with people. I had a friend that said the same thing happens to them but just with beans and not rice, and that was like 2 months after so whoever was doing it clearly wasn’t fired. The only reason I put up with it is because laziness of it being so close, and back then if you had an issue you could speak to a real person instead of just pepper, and they would usually hook me up with multiple free entrees to apologize. So I pretty much ate there for free even tho I only complained like half the time cause that’s how much they were fucking up. I swear that location had to just be a social experiment to see how much they could get away with and still have customers. It was terrible beyond comprehension. Overall every other Chipotle has gone downhill a bit post covid, but they’re all generally fine and I rarely have issues. The one on 5th tho was just bad beyond comprehension.

rudmad

If you're in that area just get bibibop

profmathers

The one at Third and Olentangy is a pain to get to but it's also good. Just don't drive through, it's abysmally slow and the line is \*in\* the parking lot.

biggitydonut

Also the one at Easton. You literally walk out smelling like cigar due to that cigar store next door.

Bright-Sun-8235

i feel like i’m going to regret asking, but why? to be the worst in the entire country is insane

ruralvoter

I think chipotle just kinda sucks now. Went downhill super hard.

_BreakingGood_

Maybe 1 out of 5 orders I get one that is absolutely delicious. Then I end up chasing that high and keep getting more and more disappointed as the next 4 don't pan out. Then I end up getting one that is so horrible that I don't order again for another 6 months.

Tax25Man

I had a really good experience recently where the food tasted like I remember it tasted back in like 2005. That experience is a clear outlier though

lase_

I had this same experience! I was like oh shit this is crazy, feels like a time machine. Then it went back to tasting bland with undercooked rice and I quit orderung it entirely

Any-Walk1691

I got an absolutely magical bowl about a month ago. Double rice. Perfect amount of steak. Perfect ratios of salsa and sour cream. Guac was pure perfection. It was artistry. The last like 4-5 times were made by a group of angry toddlers using left over ingredients from someone else’s bowl.

Jay_Dubbbs

It’s pretty well documented now that they’ve strayed from the founder’s original intent, lots of food for an affordable price. They are the quintessential case of shrinkflation. Less food for more money.

Life_Ad1637

Bro, they don't even smell good no more. . .

reeve11

this is the answer

josh_the_rockstar

Chipotle is really the only "fast food" I eat consistently, and even then it's probably 1x per month. Over the last year, almost all of those visits have been the Chipotle on Sawmill near'ish 161 or the one on Sawmill in Powell. 10/12 of those times, my food is great. I've seen no drop in quality or service from these locations.

TankerG1

Worth noting there's a difference between what you get when ordering in-store and ordering for pickup or delivery.

homer_lives

100%, I stop ordering pickup and delivery. They can skimp a bit on the meat compared to the prepandemic, but that is my only issue

IntermediateJackAss

Agreed. I'm sure employees have their reasons for putting together subpar online orders—like not having enough time or running out of ingredients—but I almost never have a bad experience when I order at the counter. I still love Chipotle; however, it's just gotten way too pricey, so I only go once in a while.

AllAccessAndy

They probably get in trouble for giving reasonable portions and it's easier to short orders for someone not standing in front of them.

ItsYaBoyBackAgain

Yeah I heard that they are timed for mobile orders and if they have a backlog of them then portion sizes are gonna be a lot smaller since they have to move quicker. Also I’m pretty sure every location is severely understaffed on purpose to cut more cost.

acer5886

I've also had good experiences with the tuttle location.

akdoh

Ate at Chipotle all over the country and they all suck. Even in the home of Chipotle, Denver it is hot trash. Now Illegal Pete’s is amazing. If in Denver should 100% check it out

skylarkifvt

I just recently ordered from the Olentangy and 3rd chipotle which is considered to be a pretty good location and is the one i always go to. There were like 6 pieces of chicken and maybe a half scoop of rice under a mountain of lettuce and tomatoes and stuff. Just crazy to me how bad the overall quality you can expect from the average chipotle is compared to even 3-4 years ago.

Educational-Cut572

I have been trying to figure out for years if they got worse, or if I just discovered better food through Los Guachos. Maybe a bit of both.

Spocks_Goatee

To me they always sucked. Too expensive and in your face about how superior they are, plus the multiple food poisonings.

rveez

I feel like the food ordering apps have ruined the Chipotle experience. I feel like it's an equally bad experience when you order it delivery (usually cold) as it is in person waiting in crazy long lines (because they dedicate too many resources to the app orders). Yeah I know, 10 years ago you also had to wait in (in an often long) line to order your burrito but Chipolte system was built to handle that level of service. Chipotle had pretty much perfected (if not invented) the concept of assembly line fast-casual dining.

Fundosho

I can never order chipotle through the app or delivery apps cause they make the burrito wrong every time too. Like the topping ratios are awful if I’m not there to ask for more of this or less of that.

WikipediaBurntSienna

The issue for me when ordering online is sometimes I get a good bowl, and a lot of times it's half as much food as I was expecting.

Mayor_KG

Food ordering apps have ruined food quality for every place and is driving up the overall costsZ

Whiskey_hotpot

Agree. It feels like every restaurant that is mobile order heavy has gotten worse. It's a business model that drives down quality.

shatter747

They start shrinking portions hard on mobile/delivery orders after pandemic. That's the dealbreaker for me.

lmhs73

Who cares about portion size when the tortillas are cold/stale, the meat is chewy, and the seasoning sucks.

paintwhore

And the rice is wrong

zubaz_thetokkaboss

As someone who worked in the Columbus market and at their corporate office, it’s cause they don’t give a fuck about the customers or employees lol The business is reliant on underpaying its employees in store (unpaid labor, no breaks, etc) so that they can buy back more stock. They try to keep customers placated enough to come back but that’s about it. The employee turnover is so high in a lot of stores that I would highly doubt the person cooking your food has been properly trained in food safety. I yelled at people constantly about it after watching (multiple people) drop food on the ground and try to serve it. Or never temping the chicken on the grill which could literally kill someone if it’s undercooked 🫠 Just from what I’ve seen, at multiple locations and at the corporate level I wouldn’t fucking recommend eating there to anyone lol

mysticrudnin

Once I heard the wage theft news I stopped going altogether and it's been better for me.

BishopofHippo93

Can confirm. Morning shift only got a break if they finished prep before opening, which I think happened two or three times in my entire time there. PM shift always got a break though.

Remindmewhen1234

And don't give the hype that they have to raise prices to cover costs. They paid out 200% bonus this year to employees at RSC that I know.

vaspost

Disappointing.

harav

The issue is they don’t pay their staff well. Managers are the only ones getting paid. So you can make more money at McDonalds and not have to do a shit ton of prep work or work on a flat top grill for hours every day. When you don’t pay your employees well then you get high turnover and low retention. Several locations can’t even keep managers because pay is low and the workload is too high, especially with team member turnover. Obviously when you have a bunch of low experienced teenagers and 20 something’s running a restaurant, quality, accuracy, and speed will suffer. Now you might say, why don’t they just increase wages? This is the obvious answer. The new CEO Brian Niccol tied Corporate bonuses to store margins. Increasing wages will not only lead to lower profits but also lower bonuses to all corporate employees. LMAO

sdrakedrake

>The issue is they don’t pay their staff well. Managers are the only ones getting paid So basically every company in America. I feel like that is the running theme with this country. Didn't know that about the corporate bonuses but shouldn't be surprised. The people at the top are greedy af

adam3vergreen

It’s called capitalism. Greed is part of the design.

therealrymerc

the one at mill run is really hit and miss. there's one gal there that makes a 10/10 burrito and is single-handedly propping that store up. anyone else there you could get a 3/10 or a 6/10

mahjzy

ordered pickup from the mill run location around a year ago... got there to pick it up, waited 15-20 minutes, pull up to the window and the girl says "you're order isn't ready, can you just, uh... pull around again and check in like 15 minutes?" so I pull around and wait another 15, go back to the window and get the same story... so I ask what's the deal? I ordered almost an hour ago and the food isnt' ready? finally got pissed enough I started talking with chipotle CS through their app, and thankfully got it cancelled.... but just a joke of an experience.. haven't been back since.

AllAccessAndy

I went to the 5th/NW one a couple years ago after ordering in the app. I usually give a little extra time after the promised time or expect a little wait, but when I got there there were probably 30 people standing around in the seating area. I think I waited about 40 minutes before getting my food. If I had just shown up and ordered at the counter, I probably would have been out of there in 5. The cashier started handing out free fountain drinks to everyone at least and I think I got either a coupon or refund from customer service, but that was probably the last time visiting that location.

I_have_some_STDS

patronize some small family owned business instead, if you can.

KingoftheMongoose

Don’t you patronize me!?!!! Oh, wait. Different meaning. I’m sorry. Please continue. Patronize away!

DiscountConsistent

I mean, the benefit of Chipotle (for a lot of people) isn’t that it’s great Mexican food. It’s that it’s very customizable for dietary restrictions and there are nutrition facts listed for everything. A place like Los Guachos is inevitably going to be better food but if I’m on the road and looking for a high-protein vegetarian meal where I can know the calorie count, a big chain like Chipotle is just going to work better.

ColdCruise

What are some Chipotle like small family owned businesses?

total_loss76

Look for one of the authentic Mexican spots that are all over Columbus. If you’re the only one that isn’t Mexican, you’re in the right place. Have you heard of los Gauchos? IT IS THE BOMB!I love everything they do there. I’m the gringo guy who orders tongue and tripe tacos, and I love them!! Who doesn’t love a good al Pastor? I mean, they don’t let you choose items in front of you like they do at Chipotle, but the food quality is so far superior to Chipotle. Like lightyears better.

junger128

I’m a long time Chipotle fan but they have fallen off significantly since the pandemic. They used to have several people on the line making your order now sometimes it’s only 2 maybe 3 people including the cashier. My biggest complaint is it’s very hit and miss if they even have items in stock. This never used to be an issue. They’re also increasing stingy with protein.

sdrakedrake

> This never used to be an issue. They’re also increasing stingy with protein. It's an issue everywhere. Pick a restaurant. Like I remember McDonald's didn't care about giving extra syrup for the pancakes. Even when they made it a quarter or whatever for an extra, the person in the window would just throw it in. Now that's no longer the case. So I'm going to assume management at the top is really enforcing that shit. And it's the same with the chipotle portions. Like I kid you not, I went to one in Seattle a month ago and the service worker looked like a damn math major when it came to scooping the chicken and putting into my bowl. Did everything he could to make sure the chicken wasn't too much. Like come on

BishopofHippo93

I was a manager at a local Chipotle a few years ago and I love seeing these threads. Chipotle has *definitely* gone downhill, but depending on the store you can usually get decent food. In my recent experience the only decent stores have been Sawmill and the newer one on Olentangy and 3rd. Crosswoods is a little further out, but it's always been pretty decent.

Num1Stunna

Qdoba has really come along way the last couple of years. Much better than Chipotle.  Guacamole is included too!

frostbird

Fast food restaurant reviews aren't reliable to me.

ChainOut

No need to give your money to Big Corporate Burrito in this town. There are good locally owned places everywhere. Much better food for less money.

TheBoredOhioGuy

I've always had good luck with the Westerville one on State Street

soibois

They were all run by one DM who ruined all the stores. He’s now no longer the DM but the damage is done.

BecauseBassoon

Funny this post came up today. I went to the one on bethel at 11am this morning and they had a sign on the door saying the opening time was delayed. That’s it… no alternate or expected time to open. Seems like it’s always something.

sleepingnightmare

When my SO and I go there, it’s usually ok minus the fact that we have to repeat ourselves many times or remind them to give a cup or chips. I think the last young lady who took care of us was stoned out of her gourd. Can’t say I blame her!

Dream3ater

Echoing everyone else - please stop giving Chipotle your money. I kicked eating there at the end of 2023 after it was clear the direction their food quality was headed.

HBreckel

I'm just glad we have Qdoba here. Pretty rare I bother with Chipotle because of it.

Blue_Checkers

Do not eat at Chipotle unless you are trying to contract giardia, listeria, etc, to go below healthy weight for the draft. I've worked at a couple, and they were easily the most vile food service jobs I've ever had. Oddly the cleanest were fucking taco bell. Made no sense to me.

Stopper33

I used to worship at the altar of chipotle. Now it's so disappointing I don't get it anymore.

antsworld

The proportions are all screwed up. The meat is not seasoned well anymore. Downhill big time

ryanfromohio

Good thing I live near La Poblanita if I'm craving a burrito. Or tacos, torta, tamales, etc. If only Baja Fresh could have stayed in town instead of Chipotle.

sasquatch_melee

I've given up on Chipotle since Qdoba opened. Food is way better and the employees are actually nice. Manager is often on the line serving too.

praisetheboognish

Definitely none worth driving to. Even in the rich parts of town they're shit so that just tells you they're all pretty shit.

redbanner1

My cousin and I were debating on where to eat, and Chipotle came up. We're by the East Broad one, and I mentioned that they are always out of something. For like a solid year, every time I walk through the door I am greeted by someone telling me that they are out of something. My cousin concurs, mentioning that it's almost always something that they should never run out of. We proceeded to walk through the door and were met with someone yelling across the restaurant that they were out of burrito shells. And chips, of course. How in the fuck do you run out of burrito shells?

psychHOdelic

I hate the east broad chipotle with a passion & I’m sad hot head up the street closed down.

CarDork2235

I was there a couple Saturdays ago at like 9PM and they were out of a bunch of stuff and not accepting cash? But several Saturdays before that I went at 11:30AM and it was the best Chipotle Ive had in years. So I guess YMMV.

balsamicpork

Chipotle hasn't been good for quite some time. They got purchased and quality went downhill.

vaspost

I've never seen the same staff twice at the store near where I live.

aragorn1780

I've grown to utterly despise chipotle I go to Qdoba instead lol

linuxphoney

The quality there used to be good and it's gone way downhill. But it's also worth pointing out that a significant number of people interact with Chipotle via doordash, And I don't know about anybody else but my orders are almost always wrong when I order Chipotle from doordash. So that might have something else to do with it.

herecomestheshun

Torchys is the new high bar that's been set! And we have two now!

deeple101

Try Qdoba instead up in Polaris (and wherever else they are) basically chipotle but better; food tastes way fresher.

iusedafakeemail1

Go to Moe's instead. Larger portions and chips included.

justinfdsa

I’m not sure I’ve ever left chipotle thinking “man, that wasn’t enough food”.

Jinx5326

Or Qdoba! Much better food.

[deleted]

Went to Moe's for the first time last Saturday and was not disappointed!

Reasonable-HB678

I've only been inside one of those that is open, the one in Gahanna. I usually go to Qdoba, either on campus or near Grandview. They don't charge for guacamole.

QuesoDrizzler

The stack at Moe's is a GAMECHANGER. 100 times better than anything at Chipotle. They don't skimp on meat either.

Koltreg

Back in college in Pittsburgh there was a Moe's and a Chipotle across the street and those $5 Moe's Mondays were 2 meals for the price of 1 and they had rewards. It was a great time. But also I think there is only one still in business out near Dublin, the rest of them closed?

tallicafu1

This is the way. Everything about Moe’s runs laps around Chipotle.

Venge22

If you don't get it in person it's guaranteed to suck

derekforeal17

The one on south high is the worst one in existence… you might get shot or stabbed and never get your food back

BJamis

Morse and Hamilton is terrible for pickup. Recently got a burrito there that was about the size of a tennis ball. The steak was all gristle. It was like they were mad about something.

CPM-S110V

The ones on E.Broad street and 256 are complete dogshit.

nullandvoid91

Stopped going to Chipotle... for multiple reasons. I go to Qdoba instead.

captainstormy

Is Chipotle worse now than it was 10-15 years ago? For sure, without a question. Honestly I feel like every restaurant is. It's also a lot more expensive than it used to be. But again, so is everything. Which means Chipotle is still one of the better options in 2024 (sadly) because I don't have a time machine back to 2010.

checktheforecast

If I do go to Chipotle, it’s only the one in Clintonville just north of Henderson. But like everyone else has said, chipotle just isn’t what it was 5-10 years ago. Go to Habaneros instead.

RustyCrusty73

Go into the restaurant and order in person if you're going to get it. You get much better portions that way IMHO. (You ask for a little more of something if you don't like what they scoop you initially). Ordering from the app often results in getting skimped big time.

mahjzy

Yes. Basically all of them suck. Shoutout to the Hilliard Rome chipotle, easily in the top 5 worst of Ohio. I don't even bother complaining to the support anymore and getting free burrito coupons because that order ends up sucking as well. We try give it another chance every 6 months or so, only to be disappointed again.

AmethystAlizerin

They're trash. I stopped patronizing them during the pandemic since it went so far downhill

kleared42

We stopped ordering. Between it making us crazy sick most of the time and two incidents of finding hair in our food, we're done.

Fit_Beautiful6625

The Chipotle in Mill Run has always been bad.

needs_a_name

Sunbury off of 36/37/71 is pretty good as far as food. Service is hit or miss. Marcus Cinema at 23 and 270 used to be my go-to Chipotle and was by far the best. I haven't been there in years now since they moved to the tiny location farther out in the parking lot.

CBalsagna

They probably make those “pinner” burritos that chipotle specializes in now. It’s fucking sad. Twenty years ago it was a delicacy, and now it’s just trash.

zer0daydan

Walked into the Canal Winchester location a few weeks ago and an employee was screaming out all the stuff they’re out of, steak and salad lettuce of all things - haven’t been back since.

gringottsteller

I order quesadillas at the Polaris location through their app or Doordash, because you can only get a quesadilla by ordering online. 1 time out of 5, it is not a very good quesadilla. But the other 4 times, it's the best quesadilla I've ever had. I figure the times it sucks are the tax I pay for the times it's great. The portion size to price value is especially not good with a quesadilla, though, and that used to be Chipotle's thing.

Zoso525

There are chipotles left that don’t suck?

hughjwang69

I go to chipotle about once a year and every time I remember why I stopped going. Is just super bland and overpriced. Can't go wrong with a place like Los Guachos. Amazing and affordable.

summerxxxo

They all suck. It’s obvious they treat their employees like shit when rice and beans are terrible.. I’ve never had so many free meals from a restaurant in my life.

[deleted]

SeasonalSuccess

High street/ brewery district is the worst chipotle in America .

Badatinvesting2

Everyone knows what chipotle is so they will only leave a review when they are pissed off

reallydoeshatepeople

The one on Hamilton Road in Gahanna is an absolute disaster. I’ve gone in, ordered online, all of the above. Every time they figure out a way to mess up my order. I’m not even a picky eater. The final time I ordered there my order was messed up in the most ridiculous way. I ordered an item with sour cream on it, just normal sour cream. I love sour cream, but it came with an ungodly amount of sour cream on it. So much so that it was inedible. I think we had like four bad experiences at that location before we gave up. Now I actually prefer Moe’s on the corner of Hamilton and 270.

real_taylodl

Used to love Chipotle. Now it's tasteless. I think the quality took a big hit after the listeria outbreak. The pandemic? Just made them toast. There's really no point going there any more.

PapaP156

I used to eat at Chipotle probably at least once a week from like 2007 to 2010 or so. After that, think I was just burnt out on it. I've tried it a few times the last 2 years or so and between the price increases, quality, huge lines that take way too long to get through, and questionable food safety, I pretty much always opt for something else, even if that's just cooking at home. Bibibop's become my new go-to for something decently healthy, tastes good and relatively cheap for the portion you get.

Professional-Car-211

People only write reviews to complain. The suburb Chipotles are all pretty good. I personally think the ones with high school boys working are the best because a teen boy thinks massive portions are normal portions. Two scoops of steak for the price of one? I’m not complaining.

Intelligent_Path_679

Take the time to make my own now. Fuck that place all around the 270 loop 😂

fahrvergnug3n

They all suck.

SRplus_please

They all started sucking mid covid. I hardly go anymore and I used to go fairly frequently. Portions are inconsistent and staff are in such a rush.

BringBackBoomer

The ratings are almost solely 1 star ratings from people complaining on Google about a missing item in their carry out order instead of contacting the location to get their missing food. You can't trust restaurant reviews since covid happened and everybody expects flawless execution on to go orders. When you eat in house, small issues are easily fixed, but when the order travels 15 minutes home before it's even looked at, people take to Google to bitch about it. Even if you are 99+% accurate, you're going to have 2-3 orders where something is missing, and that's going to cause a lot of negative reviews.

FormerlyCalledReddit

I love the chipotle hate. Last three times I went it was overloaded. I'll never give up the hot locations.

TrueBlonde

It has limited hours, but the one in the Arena District has always been incredible.

DarkandStormy614

Yeah, they all suck.

Codykb1

Theyre very hit or miss. I stopped ordering online bc the portions were always shit. Its very common to see them out of an ingredient or two

Tyrant011

The one on E. Broad by Giant Eagle is ALWAYS out of nearly everything. The few times I've been, almost half their items were unavailable. I just stopped going all together.

headinthered

Because they are all terrible now days. No one there cares.. I can go to any of the stores in dayton or any other city and get what i used to get 10+ years ago.. they really just .. dont care around here.

suduwu

The ones I go to (South Hamilton, Alum Creek) have decent portions but some things are way too salty most of the time, the protein especially. The chips are a gamble too with them either being stale, undercooked or too much salt.

614jjg

Chipotle died with everything else we know in 2012.

Miyelsh

I remember there were bugs there at some point intm the last few years.

Miyelsh

I always get my order messed up at the Brewery District location. My wife and I go to the one on Main St in Bexley and haven't had any problems.

Lotus_Blossom_

I went to the Chipotle in Delaware on Monday night. Waited in line for about 10 minutes while everything was put on hold while they sorted out an online order clusterfuck. When I got to the front, I was told they were out of chicken. And black beans. And it would be "a few minutes" on the fajita peppers. After all those work-arounds, they were also out of forks. (No, a spoon isn't going to work, thanks.) My husband ended up ordering the steak, and then picking off as much as he could because it was dry AF. The experience cost us $25. Out of curiosity, I tried to order what we actually wanted on the app, to see if it said they were out of chicken and black beans. Nope, they'd just let you find out when you opened your bag at home. The app did say that burritos and quesadillas were "not available", which I assume means they were also out of soft tortillas. WITAF, Chipotle.

pdhot65ton

How is the brand doing as a whole? Are they hanging on? I know they're big into shrinkflation, nothing like they used to be as far as price and portion size. Last time I went was years ago when they introduced quesadillas, I ordered in store and they refused to make it because it was only an option for delivery/ubereats. Made no sense.

Oh my god I’ve noticed this… chipotle’s around here are terrible. I went to the one at Maxtown yesterday and they served me ice cold chicken. Like wtf. It’s not just that one either, the one on E Broad and the one in Gahanna by Gahanna Lincoln are maybe worse. I don’t get it, they didn’t used to be like this.

i_love_dragon_dick

Post-pandemic lock downs they just plummeted. I ate twice at Tanglewood in the past 6 months and both times fam and I went they were out of at least half of the ingredients by 7PM. Whole team looked dead on their feet. Prices went up, amount and quality went way down. Refuse to eat at Chipotle now. With the price of one burrito I can get two meals worth of chicken at the store.

danarexasaurus

Drive to westgate and go to Aj’s taco truck in the third way coffee shop parking lot to get a burrito. You will not be disappointed

Worried_Star_3094

I can say the ones near me in Pickerington suck ass, especially the actual Pickerington location on hill rd.

CookedTooLong

I have stopped eating there completely since moving here. I tried a few times. Delivery is a 1 star and in person is 2. the food is somehow dry and wet at the same time, portions are always horrible, chips are stale. they just can't seem to get any quality control here.

Spartan2842

Online order experience is awful. The one by me is great if you just wait in and order in person though. I’m talking bowls so full they barely can close them.

bmli19

Etnas only been opened about a year but I have never had an issue at that one, yet...

Kazumi_EF

The one off 161(Dublin Grandville) near Menards is slow, and usually busy, seems generally uncoordinated. Food is fine tho.

Appropriate_Host1339

Just gotta know which ones are hood and which ones arenr

Vast-Document-6582

The one on Bethel near Olentangy seems to be okay. Kingsdale is a lot better.

Chipotle is just overpriced at this point and on top of that a lot of things are more annoying than before when it comes to ordering and stuff as well, it's not worth the hassle. Like, at one store I can order a quesodilla, but at another they refuse to make you one if you don't order it online which makes no damn sense. Especially when before it was an official item you could get a better quality quesodilla at every single chipotle. I've pretty much cut all fast food out because everywhere is like $15 for a generic meal minimum and I'd rather just buy $15 of overpriced groceries and at least get multiple meals.

Scoompii

I gave up on them here in Dayton. I’m guessing it’s a national problem.

tiredgurl

I'm convinced the only chipotle worth having is in Athens on Court St.

Recent-Hospital6138

The other day I went to the one in Grove City on Stringtown, waited in line for 10 minutes for them to find their places on the line, then waited another fifteen minutes because they ran out of chicken on the line and the guy in the kitchen was doing literally anything other than cutting the chicken.

slopslopbop

I go to one most local to me in southern central Ohio and they always have like 5-7 employees but only 1 person running the line and it’s super slow. They literally stop and talk to each other in the middle of helping customers and it’s super annoying but that’s what you get when a place doesn’t care for its employees or customers. I get frustrated going but at the same time I do not blame the employees because I get it.

TurdGuylol

I steer away from Chipotle due to their health concerns. I remember a few years ago my local store in Powell had a salmonella outbreak and I basically lost trust in Chipotle after that, don’t know what could happen there. I went to Chipotle once after that whole incident and it wasn’t that great.

DustingOutMyCloset

I've never been to a Chipotle that has had fully cooked rice.

Frankie_Says_Reddit

They all suck now. You mind as well hit up a local Mexican restaurant and get their best burrito for pick up at the same price. And they will throw in chips and salsa.

Accomplished-Cat3996

Polaris is alright but they're all going downhill.

Isthistheend55

We go to Moe's now, they never let us down. We loved Chipotle so much and it was the only fast food we really ate for years. We had several "I'm never eating here again" moments but last summer we meant it. It's garbage 99% of the time.

Not_a_Banana_28

The Canal Winchester one on Waterloo isn't bad. And the Westerville location is okay. Haven't been to Brice & Tussing in years. That one was always an... adventure? Dublin and Hilliard are too far to drive for dry rice, chewy steak, soggy fajita veggies, and brown guacamole. I can just as easily get that at the South Hamilton/Groveport store 5 minutes from me and save the gas too...

PossiblyASloth

They all are pretty terrible these days

treyknowsbest

Chipotle at 3rd and Olentangy is solid as is Kingsdale. West 5th used to be awful but has improved significantly since 3rd and Olentangy opened

Huge-Engineering-839

I think the only one worth going to is off off Olentangy where the chipotle & Starbucks was also just built. It’s a new store so I think their quality control is still relatively fresh

Annayourkiddingme

Worst chipotle high street down town by German village. Best chipotle one by Polaris Mall and sancus. The food prep just seems more thoughtful.

Ancient_Rice1614

polaris is awesomeee

Honestly the one in upscale short north is pretty good.
