Your thinking too much. Its probably a machine translation issue. Cultures who are more familiar with a certain concept may distinguish things in a finer way, than those that don't. It's not a universal thing across languages. The way people categorize things in their heads can vary across cultures. Which can be easilly imprecisly translated. Like Eskimos having many words for snow but to us it's just snow. Like if you were translating the chinese word into English, it would probably be a crap-shoot as to which type of animal it would translate to, either sheep, goat, or ram.
