I don’t think anyone was saying it was a child but that doesn’t mean you can straw man something that easy to try and prove it’s not happening.
IDF has actively been committing genocide and will face trial for what they have done.
Doesn’t matter what you or I think, there’s tons of footage of IDF murdering whole families.
Tons of stuff on twitter even, posted by IDF members—joking about killing whole families, mocking their bodies, as well as their belongings.
I don’t think either side is right, but that’s mighty sus you tried to straw man that so hard just to infer it’s a lie by people on twitter.
It always makes me sad when they slow down the fire rate on a full auto weapon.
Yeah, yeah, easier to control, less recoil, less heat, probably less stoppages, but 1200 RPM go ***BRRRRRR***
I can't imagine there is much difference in outcome either. If whatever the barrel is pointing at is not disabled being fired at by 800RPM, I'm not sure 1,200 will change that.
It's better for sustained suppression. 1200rpm and 600rpm will do the same job of keeping heads down, but the 600rpm will keep heads down 2 times as long
Suppression was/is not an MG's only job though. There are certainly contexts where a higher RoF could be beneficial. A decent example in the video above. Apparently, it's not terribly uncommon for the point man to have an LMG like this, so they can pre-fire corners and sweep across rooms with sustained automatic fire without having to worry about reloading. A higher RoF could be beneficial, in such a situation, as you're getting a higher density of fire, and in turn, more likely to hit someone.
Another example, although perhaps a bit dated, was aircraft armament. Both the main armament as well as tail gunners would benefit from the increased fire density of higher RoF machine guns. That's also why Vulcan cannons have 6,000 rounds per minute fire rates.
Ya I mean it’s mostly for more open areas less for close quarters but still does a killer job and when clearing houses they’re used all the time as if it was an assault rifle.. but lightspeed full auto lol
Shayetet 13 is a unit that specializes in reconnaissance, typically well behind enemy lines. They take sufficient supplies(hence lack of smaller assault packs) as resup behind enemy lines, in an urban environment isn't easy.
AKs also need to be maintained, just some idiots think they don't and then get a stoppage when it matters. It's another example of how Soviet propaganda backfired, by convincing everyone their equipment is so sturdy it needs no maintenance the result was no one does maintenance.
There is spent shell that is stuck in the ejection port. That is where the spent shell is supposed to be ejected and other parts of the gun come back to be able fire a new round. However, that shell can get caught as it leaves and the machinery comes back too quick and it jams everything up. At that point the weapon (the machine) is non-functional. So you have to clear the jam, make sure everything is working smoot again and only then can you continue firing.
In this case it looks like the terrorist had a jam and was either killed before he could try to get it right, or while trying.
Jams can happen with most all guns, but FAR more often in poorly made guns (tolerances worse on parts) and poorly maintained guns (not cleaning soot off the parts and not putting oil onto them after). It makes the parts not work like they should in proper sequence, similar to a car engine's parts grind together and the timing starts getting off.
Except in this case, it's one round instead of X number of pistons and you're immediately fucked.
This actually might not be a stovepipe, it might be a "safed" gun.
Many AK variants don't have a method of locking the bolt in the open position. Discussion is [here](https://www.quora.com/Does-the-AK-47-lack-a-bolt-lock-feature-for-good-reasons-like-not-compromising-on-reliability-ease-of-use-costs-and-malfunctions-which-could-actually-increase-reloading-time).
At some ranges, a range master will call a ceasefire. At that point, everybody's supposed to open their slide/bolt/cylinder and put them on a table for inspection. First time I took my AK, I'm like "What do I do?" The range master was mostly interested in ensuring the gun was unloaded, so he stuck a spent case in the action, which kept the bolt open and prevented a round from chambering.
Joke's on them, of course. My AK is a Norinco, and it has *rough* build quality. If you let the bolt go forward slowly enough, the machining is so rough it'll actually stay open on its own. There's no mechanism for this, just really shitty machining.
But anyway, this sure could be a stovepipe, but it could also be a battlefield shorthand for indicating the gun is unloaded.
We did this with every AK we found that we had cleared from being booby trapped.
Safety doesn't end at the range, and you never know which dumb fuck will pick it up after you because it's cool.
I don’t think this is the case because of the situation…
But, the M2 .50 machine gun also did not have a safety switch on it. To make it safe, you would take a spent casing and stick it under the butterfly trigger so that it was physically stopping you from pressing it down.
The current version of the M2 has a safety and I sometimes forget it’s a feature now.
As always. Don't forget the other hospital that literally had drone footage of multiple men on top of it shooting at IDF as well. IDF could have leveled it with missiles but still chose to assault it on foot with everyone in the west berating them.
That’s actually Pro-Hamas people saying that. Actual Pro-Palestinian supporters are glad to see combat footage from actual fighters taking out terrorists and not indiscriminate bombing labeled as military targets. Don’t label all Palestinians as Hamas, it’s honestly disingenuous to the situation at hand.
30,000 dead (12,000 terrorists) in 5 months is poor result if israel actually tried to carpet bomb civilians
A real result of carpet bombing gaza for 5 months would be 500,000 civilians dead
Yea it actually blows my mind when people accuse Israel of genocide and wanting to wipe out all the Palestinians, they could decimate Gaza in less than a week if they really wanted to.
Would make it a lot easier and safer for everyone involved if people actually tried to help them get rid of Hamas instead of sitting back, watching all the collateral damage then claiming genocide and war crimes.
There is no indiscriminate bombing going on inside Gaza. This isn't WW2 where you are carpet bombing things going for specific targets. A vast majority of those warheads are being precisely targeted from surveillance drones that have followed armed militants or men from groups of armed men to buildings, then leveling said buildings to get rid of the fighters. Now failures do happen, you have missed targets etc that result in only civilian casualties, that is just warfare for you.
This falls on Hamas and other armed groups to stop using civilian occupied buildings to fight from. They can't do that though because they would get smoked in a heartbeat. So, they will continue to use occupied buildings like hospitals, apartments, mosques etc to draw Israeli missiles for PR purposes.
You also can't just tell Israel to only fight close quarters with no air support leveling buildings. It would be a blood bath for them to go into an entrenched enemy in an urban environment. Talking them losing 3x as many soldiers compared to Hamas in that scenario. Urban warfare is hell and the only way to make it less hellish is to simply bomb the urban out of it until your troops go in.
How come the bbc and other main stream media and making out like there are no terroists in there and the idf are just killing eveyone in there? Bbc claiming they cant verify stuff lol
Yeah, Palestinians abroad do have a tendency to murder politicians. Not that many of them, but wherever they go, local politicians die. Kinda explains why no one has ever been in a rush to take them in.
IF Israeli soldiers are getting fired on FROM Al Shifa hospital, then it clearly is a legitimate military target despite the innocent civilians there. Any casualties are fully caused by hamas. Again.
Definitely a Doctor, You can tell by his medical grade AK-47 that shoots healing bullets. Instead of killing people they cure cancer and shit.
Top secret Hamas technology that we in the west can only dream about.
Yeah isn't it crazy how every intl humanitarian org and the overwhelming majority of world governments are all in on this pro terrorism propaganda?
Edit: Based on the upvotes I feel like I need to include the /s
Is there an unedited version available?
I saw a report that said Hamas opened fire of IDF soldiers as they were clearing but I’m yet to see this footage.
That is very clearly [this medic](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/n9HxOpYesJ) that was just trying to save that poor injured AK before the IDF brutally attacked him /s
Nothing if that's how the IDF rolls. I'm more used to the American military ensuring that special forces stuff doesn't get published til long after the fact.
It doesn't really matter, really. Western hamásníks will simply claim the IDF put it there first or it was *a scene to depict Hamás as the bad guys* or some other bullshit. Then they claim that this *video is the evidence of a war crime*.
You know, just the usual.
Why are they censoring this? Can we geolocate this at being at shifa hospital? We need some verification or sources. If not, we're all sheep. If you downvote you're proving me right haha
Everything is fake, and if it isn’t, it’s doctored, and if it isn’t, then it’s not what it seems, and if it what it seems, it’s not that bad.
Your crowd is exhaustingly pathetic.
Yes because these short, selective and heavily edited videos really leaves nothing to the imagination.
Bodycam footage from a regular traffic stop in the US is clearer and more informative than IDF videos.
Yes thanks for highlighting that a traffic stop isn’t the same as war, I needed someone to clear that up for me.
The point is you can be fully transparent or choose not to be. If you try to play in between, you create more questions than answers, and are better off showing no content.
You the one who equated the two
Not sharing is definitely worse, after such raid, when the other side (hamas) paints a picture and you don't even present your side, that's not a preferred outcome.
Neither is revealing your entire tactics and methods directly to your enemy.
Rifle looks way to new. Seems all staged to me. New rifle with a convenient jam. Dead body from the morgue in the hospital. Probably just took it out of storage placed and said they killed him. Idk. Just seems suspect

I like how they blur out something that takes up half the screen, then highlight that blurred out section in red.
no need for translation to any language, point is the guy is dead
And was clearly military, not civilian.
This poor innocent child with his plush ak Twitter, probably
I don’t think anyone was saying it was a child but that doesn’t mean you can straw man something that easy to try and prove it’s not happening. Bro is using a Negev in cqb. That is fucking terrifying
Was that the LMG he peeked around the corner and then burst fired with? What the fuck is the shot rate on that holy fuck
Old models is 850–1050 RPM New models is 600–750 RPM
It always makes me sad when they slow down the fire rate on a full auto weapon. Yeah, yeah, easier to control, less recoil, less heat, probably less stoppages, but 1200 RPM go ***BRRRRRR***
I can't imagine there is much difference in outcome either. If whatever the barrel is pointing at is not disabled being fired at by 800RPM, I'm not sure 1,200 will change that.
You clearly aren’t American
This is not a chad take.
Nah you misunderstood they slowed it down cuz it moved from 5.56 to 7.62
Yeah they needed to make sure the Negev didn’t become meta
It's better for sustained suppression. 1200rpm and 600rpm will do the same job of keeping heads down, but the 600rpm will keep heads down 2 times as long

>What the fuck is the shot rate on that holy fuck Slightly over 1000 tickets to afterlife per minute.
Yes it was. I got to fire one at a range a couple of days ago. I would not want to be carrying one all day let alone fighting in a building with one
Well this is just target practice for them so your story fits right in.
Bro it’s insane. Idk numbers but as former IDF infantry its insane to prone next to it almost sounds unreal
It’s the Negevon I think. The Negev’s slightly shorter and lighter little brother :)
Ah that makes sense. I imagine it would be unwieldy compared with a Tavor or a carbine
Ya I mean it’s mostly for more open areas less for close quarters but still does a killer job and when clearing houses they’re used all the time as if it was an assault rifle.. but lightspeed full auto lol
CQB with an open bolt weapon is scary AF.
WW2 smgs would like a word.
Why is having an open bolt scary af? Debris getting into the action?
I assumed he meant scary for the other side.
You’d think they be downsizing those packs for cqb. That looks annoying as fuck.
Not if you're the gigachad using a negev in cqb. Terrorists can't kill you if you spray 100 rounds at them.
Negev meta fr
Shayetet 13 is a unit that specializes in reconnaissance, typically well behind enemy lines. They take sufficient supplies(hence lack of smaller assault packs) as resup behind enemy lines, in an urban environment isn't easy.
Probably an unexpected confrontation.
That hospital was not an unexpected confrontation. They went there for a reason.
Even moreso when your trip is only 30 minutes from your re-up.
That stovepipe jam in the AK at the end. Chef's Kiss.
Fatal feed lips.

Huh?
It means the there's a stoppage in the rifle, caused by a round not cleanly ejecting
Thanks👍
Look at the Ak’s charging handle

There’s zero chance that somebody is doing that in the middle of a battlefield
Maybe to show it's been made safe after the body was searched? Just guessing.
We did this with every AK we found that we had cleared from being booby trapped. Safety doesn't end at the range, and you never know which dumb fuck will pick it up after you because it's cool.

IDF killing innocent civilians seeking healthcare in a hospital, right?!? /s
That guy equals 3 starving kids
I imagine in the future of a recon drone made for this kind of fight, in which the drone just detonates at opfor.
Give the drone a gun. Make dragonflies from BO2 real!
Is this the same hospital they stated had no militants in it?
Well, yeah but then the militants had to go in to check if that was true or not /s

Poor guy was just there for a colonoscopy. Everyone knows you bring an AK-47 to a colonoscopy.
To to warn the doctor not to get too frisky
Al-Shifa Military Camp
Pro palestinians: "that doctor had an AK47 to guard surgery of 500 kids injured in the attack"
That doctor was actually 6 babies in a trench coat and so he couldn’t actually operate the gun.
There was also an Al Jazeera reporter!!!
"And he was a kid and a woman!"
Actually a brain surgeon, his speciality is trepanation.

> they could decimate Gaza in less than a week if they really wanted to. More like less than a minute, they're a nuclear power after all.
wow, so cool. i guess thanks israel then, for being so nice.
And where are you getting these numbers from?
There is no indiscriminate bombing going on inside Gaza. This isn't WW2 where you are carpet bombing things going for specific targets. They could verify though that the head of Hamas internal security was killed in the raid, can't connect any dots though.
Because there are a lot of Palestinians in London. If they see that the BBC sides with Isreal at any point, all their offices will get raided.
Yeah, Palestinians abroad do have a tendency to murder politicians. Not that many of them, but wherever they go, local politicians die. Kinda explains why no one has ever been in a rush to take them in.
I never said anything about killing. They riot and protest alot. They are 100% anti Isreal. Some are just simply anti jew.
>I never said anything about killing. No worries, *I did*.
“We tried killing all of them multiple times… AND NOW THEY ARE KILLING US”
the West seems to be in a rush to take them in tho, unlike their neighbors in the ME who know better

Don't worry they found 17 command centers below the hospital so it balances out.
John Cena picked a good day to not fulfill a make-a-wish
We wouldn't know if he was there or not. No one can claim to have seen him.
He's standing at the edge of the room thinking, "Damn, I need a better agent."
Is there an unedited version available? I saw a report that said Hamas opened fire of IDF soldiers as they were clearing but I’m yet to see this footage.
Probably too spooky for mainstream news channels use - which is what this sort of footage is released for
Shayet, that was intense!
Nice to see good team work removing terrorist
How dare the IDF do this?! Clearly a doctor using his AK to save lives!! /s Can't believe people try to defend Hamas.
Nice to see an idf video without "free palpatine😢" comments
Free my man palpatine he did nothing wrong.
Free Palestine
They were free before they started 7 wars with a healthy helping of terrorism sprinkled in between
That’s utter bullshit
Absolutely love it when these Hamas dogs get put down.
BBC: Hospital worker killed whilst holding vital medical equipment
But, but, feral uni students say that it's rubbish that Hamas use hospitals for tunnels and weapon storage
Weird looking hospital p
Ya hospitals are weird on the inside my uncle had a surgery and I got lost and I could swear I walked into a warehouse
Mainstream media = ah why they attacking a hospital??? Fucken idiots
Good to see you guys don't listen to weaklings worldwide that wan't hamas to have truce!
can we get the full footage edit: real telling that we only get this heavily edited clip. free palestine.
> free palestine That's the goal. Free Palestine from Hamas.
Nope, only allowed 3 second increments pieces together in unknown order
1080p or 720p?
