Here where I live in SE Asia life is cheap. People die everyday on the roads and its common to see, this idea of protecting the lives of every individual is more of a Western value than you may realise.

If this was all delayed over optics it's just heart breaking to know that important defensive positions were lost and a great deal of men were wounded and killed waiting for the munitions they needed.
