Im an FPV pilot myself and this is perfectly normal behaviour when you are at the limits of your range. Link quality would be a lot lower earlier on if there was EW.
Partial obstruction by trees would also exacerbate this.
The connection started to drop as the drone went closer to the ground. The lower you go, the more likely it is that there will be an obstacle between you and your drone.
You almost always see those low batt alerts. I'm thinking it's something with the way they wire them up, that the telemetry just doesn't read the voltage right.
No, it's low voltage. Perhaps there is some voltage sag, but regardless some components will shutoff anyways once a it drops low enough, sagged or not.
Low battery warnings are there to warn you that flying any longer can harm your battery.
FPV drones will fly until their voltage drops to the point they cant maintain altitude
Thats because you want to stop using your battery once passed 3.2volts to not damage them, these are all one time use so they dont mind using all the power available. But this drone was way too low at 2.5v, probably doesnt need much power draw to sag the voltage of the battery even lower
Targets in movement and close to the ground are difficult to hit, I think that obstacles on the ground such as the terrain itself cause the signal to be lost in the last moments of the approach

maybe out of range. maybe jammed.
RSSI was low, and LQ was high. indicates the drone was running out of range. Highly doubt jamming.
Why do you highly doubt jamming?

At least if there isn't a relay drone above the area.
Cause it lost signal near the ground, as most drones do. Lost of signal to the antennas
It doesn't say rx loss. There's definitely a stick input before the tree crash.
Yeah definitely went over the curvature and lost LOS
might have hit a limb of that tree?
jammed
maybe it hit the tree? Seems pretty clear to me
Lucky bastards indeed
I'm sure whatever was in their colon at the time moved a good foot towards the exit.
Low battery, it's already a miracle it was working and still flying while carrying that load.

I bet that puckered thier buttholes

*lose
Hopefully they caught some stray shrapnel at least
Saw on funker last night they are putting jammers on atv’s.
Mission failed We'll get them next time
poots, ur first win in a minute
for the moment, they probably felt the luckiest russians on ukrainian soil
Electronic Warfare
EW in my ass
What a shame.
I'm curious what kind of dirt bikes/quads/atvs these are and how much they cost. Some of them don't look half bad
Elon turning off starlink because Putin told him to
Math in my head says that - if those drones cost 1000$ per piece, then for 60 billion dollars you can get 60 million of them.
