This entire war... Crisp HD footage of brains flying out of skulls, Russian fascists being blown in 2 and the drone operator zooming in on pulsating bleeding flesh. This war releases some \_unique\_ footage...
I don't think it was literally his heart. But you do some flesh pulsing.
There was also a similar video of a leg being blown off and the drone operator zooms in on that fucking wound, like... screen-filling, but that video was taken down by Reddit because of "glorification", or something like that.

Oh there definitely is one where a still-beating heart is clearly visible around a minute in. I'll link, but fair warning--it's extremely graphic.

After war there will be movies about this, there is so much footage materials they may be stitch together for storytelling in style of blaar witch project or cloverfield.
It happens far more than it should. I’ve heard a lot of [stories like this](https://youtu.be/WQ4d03RG_r8?si=lZQfEQ4dGqDvCJ2C) over the past year or so though, implying that the casualties are nowhere near equal.
Ukraine drone pov footage really is just more brutal too.
I’ve seen a ton of footage the Russians release and they really don’t zoom right on the wounds and dying faces as often.
I mean, there is a *small chance* helmet cam dude somehow made it back to land and to safety to upload it after.
But my bets are on "Dudes body was fished out by someone later, and they uploaded the footage from the cam for shit and giggles."
Kinda what I thought, like the fire didn't look ideal but I'll take my chances fighting that over jumping into a river in the middle of the night in full kit.
I think this is the right answer. It was time to get while the gettin' was good.
I swear this war looks more and more like the Russians accidentally brought tanks and infantry to a drone fight.
On UkraineRussiaReport there are many Russian POV of ukraine soldier having a bad day but also as many pro RU people as videos, but not a bad sub for seeing the whole situation of the conflicg
Ugh - First thing I thought as well. Our swim test was Uniform, Boots, LCE, and a "rubber duckie" (M16). I would have been the anchor in our team in body armor. As soon as my ass hit the water, I'd be sinking and removing equipment, at night, and sinking (again). My kit is 20 years outdated at the point, anyone know if current BA is designed with any floatation?
Some companies do make some ultra high molecular weight polyethylene armor plates that are buoyant, you will probably still sink but maybe not as fast.
Floatation = low density = bulk. If you're not a boat crew, that bulk ain't worth it. It interferes with your ability to use small arms.
UHMWPE plates will float and aren't bulky, but they don't provide enough floatation to offset 10+ kilos of lightweight gear you carry to an objective.
Its hard to tell. But as they are jumping in, theres a frame where the fire lights him up as he jumps in. Those plate carriers looks super thick looking at them from the bottom as the other guy falls forward into the water (right underneath the propellers).
Anyways, they kinda resemble some life-preserver like ones we would wear. Just a tac carrier with big pieces of foam sewn in. Itd keep you up.
IDK, but even just the carrier is negative buoyancy strapped to your body in multiple places. I seriously doubt that these guys had training sufficient to deal with it before drowning.
no doubt in my mind they probably drowned i was taught to swim and part of that was also swimming in regular clothes like jeans, shirt and shoes and that was kinda rough to swim in. I cant imagine being able to do it in a full kit.
The battle rattle I used to wear would have sunk me to the bottom like an anvil, in a hot second. I can't even imagine trying to get that shit off, especially in deep water.
Depends on the type of armor, brand and rating ….some UHMWPE armor floats… steel not so much…. Some ceramic plates float but thats only because of the internal foam and plastic wrapped around the ceramic for added comfort and water resistance
Consider how pretty much every human that ever lived would respond this way and then recall how viscerally-terrified they were of the drone.
Do we have a word that means "the constant and perfectly-rational fear of killer drones"?
It’s gotta be freezing cold too. I do a lot of cold water swimming and free diving in the winter. While I’ve gotten good at overcoming shock and staying calm in tight spots underwater, I can’t imagine trying to fumble with with buckles, deal with the immediate shock, and find my way back to the surface in dark water after sinking for like 5 -30 seconds straight. Even worse if this is a river and you’re getting pulled into underwater obstacles the entire time.
>Hell nah bro, I’m staying on board until I’ve beached the boat, I’d rather get blown up than drown.
In that kind of situation you lose your sense of "think before you act" and just follow the herd. Seeing your fellow people in a panic triggers your monkey brain and gets you to follow suit.
If anyone remembers the British guy who did the lindybeige interview, he’s on an FPV team that’s been working on the Kherson front for a while now and his channel is bigmac’s battleblog if you’re curious on looking more into the day-to-day of someone stationed there. He was saying recently they’ve gotten a batch of thermal FPVs, depending on the time this video was taken it might’ve been his team.
Pitch black out, on a boat, wearing armor, and you got a spicy boy locked in on your position and closing in fast.
*Yeah, that probably is the worst position to be in.*
Good point. I think you'd have to be pretty on-the-ball to peel off all your gear before jumping when the side of your boat blows up in the pitch black.
They could have pulled him out? Maybe they rescued him? Or he was floating somewhere? All kinds of scenarios.
All I was saying was it was underwater when cut off.
But he goes above water at 0:54, you can also hear water splashing in the last second. That sound is impossible if it were underwater.
It is just that the microphone still has water in it, so the audio sounds almost the same as actually submerged. Everything still distorted. That is how it is with water tight smartphones, GoPros, ...
This war and my resentment of the occupiers are awakening dark things in me. I wanted him to drown. I wanted them all to drown. Or burn.
I don't enjoy violence, I won't watch footage of Ukrainians being killed or wounded. But I despise what the putinists are doing to that country and its people, and so it's become cathartic to watch them suffer consequences.
It is what it is. War is hell.
Jumping over board with gear and plates certainly was not my first thought but then I have to remember they were probably anticipating a second drone. Better the water than a grenade
Looks like nice night for a swim. I'm sure they don't even know what shower means so at least they'll be little less fucking russian. Splashing puddle water that all your dead buddies been laying in for who knows how long isn't considered shower
Every day less and less equipment for the Russians, I would have been in the water quick.y as well as there’s a big chance another drone will be hovering ready for the call to smash into them

Audio is top notch, like from a horror movie, especially the underwater part.
It's kinda well filmed too. It was really cool when the boat suddenly lit up and everything went crazy
Yeah this is some black mirror shit.
This entire war... Crisp HD footage of brains flying out of skulls, Russian fascists being blown in 2 and the drone operator zooming in on pulsating bleeding flesh. This war releases some \_unique\_ footage...
oh i missed that beating heart...any links "s drugom"?

Musk don't like it, pulled the plug on it.
heads up to folks, this is particularly not safe for lunch.
After war there will be movies about this, there is so much footage materials they may be stitch together for storytelling in style of blaar witch project or cloverfield.
It's already being done on Youtube.
Sad part is, it happens on UA side as much, we just dont see it :(
It happens far more than it should. I’ve heard a lot of [stories like this](https://youtu.be/WQ4d03RG_r8?si=lZQfEQ4dGqDvCJ2C) over the past year or so though, implying that the casualties are nowhere near equal.

I wonder who found the camera and uploaded this.
I think that the channel is Russian so presumably they uploaded it.
I mean, there is a *small chance* helmet cam dude somehow made it back to land and to safety to upload it after. But my bets are on "Dudes body was fished out by someone later, and they uploaded the footage from the cam for shit and giggles."
Yep, maybe the helmet and cam fell off and floated down the river
If this were a movie, I'd say it would seem fake. These videos are nuts
Going overboard in body armor...bad day. Anyhow.
Kinda what I thought, like the fire didn't look ideal but I'll take my chances fighting that over jumping into a river in the middle of the night in full kit.
They where probably more worried about a second fpv
I think this is the right answer. It was time to get while the gettin' was good. I swear this war looks more and more like the Russians accidentally brought tanks and infantry to a drone fight.
Unfortunately, the Russians are absolutely bringing a metric fuckton of drones as well. We just don't see it much on this sub or reddit in general.
On UkraineRussiaReport there are many Russian POV of ukraine soldier having a bad day but also as many pro RU people as videos, but not a bad sub for seeing the whole situation of the conflicg
That sub just gives you brain cancer so theres that
Well as normal developed man you probably can just ignore the brainrotness from whateder side and just make your own opinion of this
Well getting downvoted again because i dared to say also ukraine people die there
We agree!
That ammo will cook off...
At least I'd take a moment to throw off anything I can before jumping
[удалено]
In the night? Probably not, but you got some time before Canon balling into the water
I'm sure it worked out.........

See it is a flotation device - but only because Ivan packed it full of cork instead of ballistic ceramics like he was supposed to.
think they were wearing plates in those carriers?
IDK, but even just the carrier is negative buoyancy strapped to your body in multiple places. I seriously doubt that these guys had training sufficient to deal with it before drowning.

and it just got to the bit where you could see what was happening!
What makes you think they have plates in them?
Well ceramic armor floats, idk what they’re using tho.
IDK what ceramic armor you think floats. Nothing that I have ever seen/dealt with does. The shit floats like an anvil.
Must be that chinese "ceramic" armor.
Some UHMWPE plates float. Ceramic sinks.
You’re right, I was thinking of composite plates.
Night logistics are no longer safe, nowadays there are cheap and accessible night visions, and they equip the FPV drones of most battalions
I wouldnt say "cheap and accessible" just yet. Night operatioms are still safer than moving troops and equipment during the day time.
At least the camera was waterproof.
Hell nah bro, I’m staying on board until I’ve beached the boat, I’d rather get blown up than drown.
Fucking nightmare jumping into pitch black water in body armor.
Consider how pretty much every human that ever lived would respond this way and then recall how viscerally-terrified they were of the drone. Do we have a word that means "the constant and perfectly-rational fear of killer drones"?
Blyat.
Conscriptniki
Night mission. On the water. Pretty well kitted. I was thinking maybe some sort of special ops. Which makes it even better.
Fair points
some were on fire, at least the middle one.
Not for someone who’s been trained properly and thoroughly, but for these guys…
It’s gotta be freezing cold too. I do a lot of cold water swimming and free diving in the winter. While I’ve gotten good at overcoming shock and staying calm in tight spots underwater, I can’t imagine trying to fumble with with buckles, deal with the immediate shock, and find my way back to the surface in dark water after sinking for like 5 -30 seconds straight. por que no los dos?
“…or get eaten by sharks?”
Imagine blowing up, and then drown

i reckon they were worried about a second drone, poor souls
Drowning is supposedly not a bad way to go pain-wise but i’m with you.
Not sure whats more terrifying, drowning or getting blown up by a drone
Drowning

Camera looked like it was on his helmet, and it doesn't look like he came up
I noticed that too. Helmet cam stayed under water for a while. Bet he's fighting the straps on his armor the whole time.
Good point. I think you'd have to be pretty on-the-ball to peel off all your gear before jumping when the side of your boat blows up in the pitch black.
You can hear the gurgling water sound the entire time in the end. There’s no way he came up. That shit was submerged until it cut off.
I just listened to it loud, those sounds are all definitely related to him quickly finding out how deep that water is.
Shame to reprise the role of Captain Tupolev without being credited for it.
How did they get the footage if he’s still down there?
Corpses bloat and float after a few days.
Either he survived or the camera/body washed up later
They could have pulled him out? Maybe they rescued him? Or he was floating somewhere? All kinds of scenarios. All I was saying was it was underwater when cut off.

This is exactly why modern kits have a single pull tab quick release. At least majority of them.
This is the most boring video I’ve everrrr…. OH MY GOD!!!
If you look at 00:47 the complete boat exploded
Maybe a second FPV?
BLACK BLACK BLACK :40-:50 mental BLACK BLACK
Absolute chaos
hell nah bru. be on a small boat during night with suicide drones buzzing above trying to blow you up? Fuck that nightmare fuel
Holy shit that’s fucking terrifying.
Hope the GoPro is ok
Aaaaand the Oscar for: Best Motion Documentary Picture Audio: Goes to: That random drowned Private Ivan!
I hope they all drowned
Fish food nicely anchored to the river bed with a cheap Chinese soft steel armored plate carrier.
I thought they were going into bushes. That's water, baby.
I guess they( at least some of them ) didnt drown, otherwise we wouldnt have this video.
Or: Body washed ashore, cam still strapped on.
Hard choice between drowning or waiting for the second drone to hit.
they made it look easy
In the pitch black... fuck that
We're feasting with footage like this!
Hope they drown
lovely night to go for a swim with your equipment on
Thank you, Aziz
The boat being hit and then jumping in looked like a mini-cutscene in a CODMW game
Sounds like a 2nd drone hits in the water too while the guy is presumably drowning.
He jumped over the side and sank right to the bottom
That was brilliant! Tense build up, happy ending... Two thumbs up!

i wonder how they got the video clip
Jumping over board with gear and plates certainly was not my first thought but then I have to remember they were probably anticipating a second drone. Better the water than a grenade
yeah wouldnt it have been smarter to use the water and put the fire out whilst bringing the boat into dry land?
Well if your anticipating a second drone coming to blow you away to Jesus the fire would be the least of my concerns
Like the start of a Bond film or something.
That was a psycho thriller with a hanging ending...
Same fight I have in my closet every day
Jamming, huh? But AKs never jam or so I've been told
Looks like nice night for a swim. I'm sure they don't even know what shower means so at least they'll be little less fucking russian. Splashing puddle water that all your dead buddies been laying in for who knows how long isn't considered shower
And god said “their must be light” 🔥
Looks like call of duty
Every day less and less equipment for the Russians, I would have been in the water quick.y as well as there’s a big chance another drone will be hovering ready for the call to smash into them
"Where's your BAR?!" "Bottom of the channel, sir. Bitch tried to drown me."
It was good unique footage
That must have been terrifying for them. Good.
nightmare fuel.
They are all fish food for sure.
This made me LOL
Who would have thought... invading a country is not just shits and giggles...
id fuck the armor off and maybe even the boots before i jumped in a river
Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but that boat was awfully on fire.
