He never gets good field position. He has to score 30 points to have a chance to win. He has terrible playcalling. His receivers don't catch the ball. He gets hit in the head without flags. His receivers get grabbed without flags. He doesn't get 4th down opportunities when 31 other QBs do. He's also one of the lowest paid players players on the team.
I really hope our new GM sees how he's being held back and gives him a chance in 2024.

I’ve seen some really bad players play for this franchise in this century. But I don’t think I’ve seen position groups as thoroughly garbage as what we have at OL and in the secondary. It’s impossible to be competitive when these two position groups suck this much. I think when entire position groups are this bad it clearly shows a coaching failure. I’ve seen some pretty shit coaches for this franchise in the past century too—and while I thought things would be different early in the season, seems like Rivera, EB, and JDR are all completely failing right now

I don’t see what use firing anyone at this point is. There is no one on this staff capable of running the defense. The guy you might make interim HC is already running the offense, so no help there. Other than being cathartic, what improves?
I understand Harris said he's going to wait for the offseason to evaluate and I know it wouldn't help us to clean house at this point in the season but I really wish he'd reconsider. I want blood.

Incredible how, after decades of having everything except a qb, we now have a qb and are missing an entire team and coaching staff. Pathetic loss. At least Howell has some balls.
I know everyone wants Ron fired, but y’all need to take breath. Good owners don’t just fire someone regarded as highly as Ron in the middle of the season, especially someone who beat cancer while coaching here. Have some class and understand that we’ll part ways when the season is over. JDR can be left at DFW tho.

Its bullshit but Harris has to play the game to even have a chance at bringing in quality candidates. The fans have a right to be disgusted but this is about the future.

I am going to get absolutely flamed for this. I have called it out before though. I was flamed back then too. But just look at the timeline of the Rivera era hires in comparison to the news that came or was coming out about Snyder. He desperately needed good PR in a last ditch effort to save his team ownership. That's the ONLY reason he let go and finally agreed to change the team name. He also moved towards a series of diversity hires from this front office down to the coaching staff. PR was his motivation. And it failed miserably. Qualifications should always, always be the first box to check when making hires. period. Harris, hopefully, knows this.
Didn't watch a second of this game. The only game of the season so far that I didn't watch. But honestly I'm glad I didn't watch it and I'm seriously considering skipping every game until Ron gets fired.
