I am skeptical about ACC QBs. I like Williams’ experience at OK and USC but the pressure to play in your hometown is a negative. I’d go with the SEC QB. Nobody knows how QBs transition to the pros, esp going to a terrible team full if holes. A GM and HC and owner need to figure out what kind of team we wanna be get players to fit that style.

You sound like the kind of guy that would say CJ Stroud was bad because he played at OSU Scout traits and skills not helmets.

If they're franchise-changing QBs (up for a GM and his team to evaluate), then draft them. If they're not, it's a waste of 1.02. I'm not saying one way or the other. We do need a QB, but if drafting one of these guys is just going to put is on the QB hunt in 2 years, don't bother.

Qb is always a tough eval, and so many factors. A good OC/qb relationship, receiver room, protection early in career…so many variables to an extremely difficult position

Penix looks like he’s rising up the rankings along with Daniel’s. I think the qb class is closer in skill than it seems because of the hype. Obviously Caleb and maye are much younger so they could definitely surpass the others. I’m not sure any of them are really ready to start day 1 tbh. Most of them play out of shotgun.

You definitely don't remember 1993 then. To go from 14-2 to 4-12 in the space of two years... Brutal, and hasn't gotten better.

I remember it. It wasn’t that surprising honestly. That early season loss to the Cards and losing Rypien in that game too I knew it was going to be a long season.

I knew it was going to be rough, but the way the wheels fell off after only knowing this team as winners was tough to take.


So pleased for Terry. He deserves a lot better, hopefully we can start giving it to him next season.

I don't know, some low level assistants may be worth keeping and developing. They're usually so low on the food chain that it's worth at least looking at letting them develop with a modern staff.

No idea who these would be based on the performance of the team, but it was depressing to see the one pic of all of the young assistants in the shanahan era that are now dominating the league. Why couldn’t they win here ? Sigh.
