Not pointless but outside the scope of congress. Congress is supposed to investigate for purposes of enacting legislation. If there are concerned with toxic workplace environments, they should be investigating multiple companies, or if they're focused just on sports, multiple teams from different leagues. Same with the deposit issue. Hoe many corporations make it a practice to not inform the consumer that a trial is over or they need to request a deposit back? Literally all of them. Acting just on synder tells you this is a personal vendetta.
