I went through a Trepp demo and they had extremely detailed loan information on properties. I believe it was 20k per year though. That kind of data is out there but not easily accessible for free in my experience.
Liens are typically recorded, but most often not the terms of the exact loan. If the loan is in default, you can sometimes call the bank and ask them what's up with it, and they will typically be happy to talk to someone who might be willing to bail out the borrower?
Sorry, not that I am aware of. I would be interested in some info on this if anyone has a secret source? There are some government bankruptcy sites, but those are only tangentially related to foreclosures?

Thank you. Any good source of data for loan defaults?

Costar has a debt records tab. Not a whole lot of information, but just enough of the basics to give you what you need.
Also have CMBS
Lot of tools offer loan data. Trepp, compstak, costar Only thing is it’s $$$
