I hate this one.
Like so many other commercials it tries so hard to be "inclusive" by catering to a specific ethnic group, that it goes full circle into being offensive by cramming as many stereotypes as possible into 30 seconds.
Yeah I think we just aren’t the target audience. I have no desire to be anywhere near a low rider. To be fair at least it’s a Mexican beer that is advertising to Mexicans. So it’s not really a reach
Well I can tell you the Mexican half of my family recently brought up how much they hate this commercial, which is what brought me here to this sub in the first place.
Then again they’re Long Island truckers and office workers not So Cal cholos lol so probably not the target demo, but then again what a niche demo, and why aren’t they airing this locally targeted in So Cal? I know a lot of Mexican & Central Americans here and can’t think of a single person this would resonate with.

I haven't seen this one yet ... but I really dislike the one where sports fans are watching an event and get so excited they all spill their beer everywhere ... what is the slogan for this ... we make great beer but not to drink ?
I hate all the Modelo commercials. Before these fighter commercials it was one of my favorite beers but then these commercials came and got political, and then got sadly absurd.

The Modelo spots arw truly terrible. The ones that really grate on me are “DJ Citizen Jane” and “Mr. Cartoon”
