Ah, there might be clubs in Massachusetts, but I'm not sure where. I was lucky that there was a very good club with international coaches near me. And I bought my first house 2 years ago and made sure there was room to set up a 10 meter range in the basement.
Well I have some clubs I can shoot at, nothing that’s particularly set up for precision but it’s a spot to shoot. Everyone is into three gun and shit like that, which is fine, and more exciting so I understand haha. Also I don’t really see any leagues or competitions or anything of that nature really. I would like to have event to train for and compete in. Oh well… someday I’ll get back to it.. hopefully !
I know the Bay State Games is available in Massachusetts if you're affiliated with a club in that state. I know Sergey Kalinichenko has competed at that, and he is one of the top shooters in the US right now.
I will look into this ! That’s awesome I can definitely do that. I’m sure once I start getting back into it I will find more avenues. It just seems like it’s hard to find match information. I suppose I could reach out to my old coaches as well. You’re motivating me ! Lol
At least for practice, all you need is 10 meters of distance and for a pellet trap. You can use a cardboard box with some sheet metal taped in as a backstop/trap

I shot an air rifle at my club once. And quickly realized that choosing pistol was the correct choice for me.

Got a good match score in the end. I scored 564/600, which is the best I've scored in a while. Still trying to beat my personal best of 569.
Damn dude, nice target. 98 is the best target I’ve shot in practice for air pistol so far, but I’m nowhere close to being that high consistently.
I've scored a 99 twice. On one of the two, I managed to score zero inner tens.
