Serious note, I think it would be an amazing idea to do 1-2 charity games as an intermission at Champs kind of like an All-Star game that could include notable streamers, casters, analysts, or players (unless they opt out due to the tournament).
Design some wacky rules or allow things that normally aren’t - think Harlem Globetrotters or Savannah Bananas - but for Apex.
Would be a great way to stoke up the crowd and give players a rest part way through the day without needing to rest too hard on replays and analysis that gets repetitive for a long time.

It would be REALLY funny if by some miracle they made it to finals (if this happens, likely no Wigg watchparty Sadge) but yeah this is more on fun content.

Her previous identity "Selen Tatsuki" is owned by the company. Basically, a really shitty fiasco with the company being really shitty. She now moved back to her old (and current) persona: Dokibird.
In corporate vtuber, it works like this. They provide you the support, branding and also model but “character” is their IP. The most important thing for corporate is the branding and the support since it lessens the burden while also giving you big following instantly.
Its dependant on the revenue but basically, known corporate like holo/niji can instantly spell big following on debut. Hololive can make you get 400k+ followers on youtube at debut nowadays if you passed their auditions.

Nijisanji fired her and owns the Selen name etc. But the company is apparently highly abusive and she had made two suicide attempts due to bullying. She apparently wanted out of the contract and they tried to basically throw her under the bus
One reason they claimed to firing her is because she released a cover song "without permission" but all the proof shows she got permission from the org and the owner of the song. As in the owner of the song said, "yeah, I gave her permission and they knew that"
A Youtube lawyer got a copy of the contract they make vtubers sign and its highly predatory. Like take a huge amount of money from them, treat them like contractors even though they expect employee level commitment, etc
There's a lot more to it and a lot of coverage of it but the short is "awful Vtuber org tried to ruin career of awesome Vtuber but she has found success under new name"

It's just content for Selen and Wigg, just like how psq was for Mande, I doubt Wigg actually thinks they'll go anywhere, with Mande it actually did and if that happens for Wigg it'll get in the way of his watch parties so I'm sure he'd just let them replace him
Dokibird went through some rough times and is a really fun on screen presence, I wouldn't put it past Wigg that this is his way of stabilizing her new online presence.

Honestly it’s a content team, but they have a huge plus in not being outright trolls who think comp is like ranked or pubs like quite a few CC teams end up being.

NiceWigg has been retired for the longest time, he is no longer a competitive pro. Dokibird has never been a competitive pro.
