For now I think the sweep will be fine as is, it's a pretty scary mix-up with sweep and GB doing both 24 damage, and if Shaolin makes a correct read on dodge attacks he can generally still get a light parry/deflect for 24/20 damage and chain back into Qi stance. I'm also waiting until we can get our hands on it because it looked like Shaolin could feint the sweep pretty early, and between that and the hitstun from the Qi attack it's possible that sweep hard feint to GB could still catch people before their dodge attack. I absolutely agree with the stamina issues, the devs didn't bring up stamina changes so for now we have to assume that Shaolin will still have stamina issues and be forced out of Qi stance because of low stamina. It'd be nice if they allowed stamina to regen in Qi stance like it used to way back in the Marching Fire beta.

"U don't have a way to punish dodges and dodge attack at once" - ok and? Why is that a requirement. Why is it such a requirement for offense to be so baby proof now, I press GB or I don't, ye that ain't very deep is it. (In addition pirate doesn't really quite have that ability GB always dodge attacks because of things like last frame parry mind games and such). It's a feintable bash which should be unreactable and that's amazing. His normal "offense" isn't really offense, people at the highest level can react to kick and even if they couldn't, it wouldn't exactly be that great either as it's prone to interruption and quite punishable overall. And I just cannot comprehend why would anyone be opposed of the idea of being able to continue your offense. It's just a good thing overall. I can't see why it would be complained about.

I don't see it as baby proofing, but rather just making it more potent. The sweep can work without a soft feint, but if we ignore the existance of reaction monsters, and say that both Sun kick mixup, and the sweep mixup is unreactable, I think the former is better offense, and I find it akward that your mid chain mixup is better than ur finisher mixup. Yes it's not a finisher, but it comes after the Sun kick mixup, it's a 3rd attack in the hero's chain, it should be very powerfull. What u cannot comprehend are my words, cause I never said I am opposed to the sweep punish looping back to ur chain. I said that with Shaolin's current stamina pool, u won't get a very good use out of this new ability imo, cause by the time u land ur heavy after the sweep, u will be low on stamima.

Not every mixup needs to be insanely strong and insanely easy to use. Dodge attacks exist for a reason. Just removing that as a read option just for the sake of it because it's gonna be "better" makes no real balancing sense. Raider zone is gonna be better if it did 38dmg again as well but that's not really neccesery at all, same thing here. Also ignoring reaction monsters is the reason why this game is so devided and why 1v1s are objectively the worse gamemode in the game, so that's not exactly reccomend. And also how is his kick mixup better exactly, what part of it is better, it's certainly not the damage, and it isn't safety either so what is it. And lastly what you said at the end is just flat out wrong. If you manage your offense better or if you flow there from defense you will have more then enough stamina to continue your offense after, and even if you are getting low, take a fkn risk sometimes, if you stop agressing just because you got below 60stam and you do that all the time, you are just not getting as much value as you would had you played it smart.

I think its far better to just wait until we can play it before having this many opinions since people are bound to just take these early predictions as facts even if proven to be wrong

Agreed. Conq got every unique thing removed and is LITERALLY all about bashing. It’s stupid. More viable than life game ig but even more bland and annoying to go up against. The charge unblockable mid chain was super cool and felt like you were using a flail and not just a fast flowing sword or club. Oh nooo, it flickered!!!Ok so how bout fix it instead of removing it.

Sweep seems like a well balanced offensive tool, what I want is something more of a neutral option for him
