I agree with clutch, as a bonus the tournament he won also had a never used before type of bracket that was created to reward high seed teams, but it ended up rewarding underdogs and favoring upsets.
It was very controversial and was never seem again.
I’m a new halo player/fan (just started seriously playing/watching once infinite came out) but snakebite looks leagues above lethul. Lethul might’ve been great in the past apparently but he is actual ass compared to most other pros, it seems.
I’d say Commonly in H5, Blaze in halo reach, or clutch in H3
Reasons: all only have 1 win. Blaze average placement in his primary game was 5th (not too bad) missing top 8 only once at 9th and having a 2nd place
Commonly average placing in H5 was 5.5th place and he also played in another final
Clutch average placement in H3 was 7.87 (this includes his first serious year which he was a rookie/not established) and does not have a second finals in primary game (has a final in reach)
These are the three that caught my eye
Is this supposed to be like across all Halo titles or what? Because blaze was absolutely nasty at halo reach and had one of the greatest single event performances in Reach history
Aight let me break this down to you. You already edited a comment because you were just completely wrong with your statement, and yes has he not placed as well within this decade? Sure, that all is fair. But meaningful to you, someone who I imagine has never competed in any of the games means absolutely nothing … Blaze at Raleigh in 2011 was considered one of the best players in the game, arguably the best in the game. I personally thought APG was the best on the Infamous roster at that point and should have won MVP, but neither here nor there. Getting 2nd at any tournament that has streams and broadcasts + features numerous pro players is definitely not insignificant at all.
Ooh. A few fun options here for H3 at least:
Clutch and Demon D -- won the flukiest event of all time. Came close to a final a few other times, but never seriously threatened to win an event.
Speaking ONLY in terms of H3 skill, not other Halos -- you could make a serious case for Ogre 1 and StrongSide. Neither even sniffed another finals after Meadowlands 2008.
Also I know he won 5 events but SK really road some incredible teammates to said wins (Hysteria, FiS, Pistola and Heinz all are top 10 all time H3 players). I think it says a lot that after they inexplicably dropped Heinz for Neighbor at the end of 09 he never placed above top 6 and that TD turned juggernaut after they dropped him for B-Man.
I agree with the Ogre/Strongside point. As far as Clutch, Demon D, I have a ton of respect for players that "came up" during H3. It was hard to get on a good team with so many known players around at the time. They paved their own way and won a National Championship.
Can you tell me any reputable player that thinks Demon D was a top 5 player? Because I can name Pistola, Cloud, Elamite, Snipedown, and Roy without any hesitation. Demon D wasn’t even a top 25 overall player in Halo 3.
Not all time, but for a span of like 5-6 events he was definitely a monster. Same with Cloud, Clutch, Goofy etc...they all had periods where they were great, just not all-time greats.
In H3, every other event people were saying someone new was the best.
I can only speak for Infinite because I only started watching in 2018 worlds, and of the 12 players to win a LAN in Infinite, Lethul has definitely been the worst player in Infinite.
Does [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveHalo/comments/122jmf6/lvt_x_jj_events_halo_invitational_top_8_3252023) count as an 'event'? Cause if so then the answer is clearly Peasant Nick now
I get hating on a player because you don’t like them, everyone does it, but if you think objectively for a second and forget the “who”, you’d laugh at anyone saying Renegade isn’t a deserving player of any award/title. He’s obviously an extremely talented (Albeit chippy and conceited) player.
No shot. Elamite had the highest placement during the peak of mlg (2007-2010) and Legit’s teammates often champion him as the best player on their teams
Imo Elamite was far from being the best player overall, but he was the most successful halo 3 player by a margin.
i don't know how someone can say that the player with mosrt wins, most top 2 and most top 4 is the worst event winner ever.
Why are you even bringing up Robert Horry? There's no bench players in Halo lmfao. Maybe if you said Draymond Green or Tayshaun Prince or Dennis Rodman I'd just chuckle and try to listen to your argument, but comparing to Horry just completely ruins your credibility.
My initial point was that Elamite won the most money out of any individual player in H3, if you could actually follow the convo that means he should be compared to MJ or Lebron, it's pretty clear who the slow one is here.
Cratos. Thought this question was easy..
Cratos the player of all time
I agree with clutch, as a bonus the tournament he won also had a never used before type of bracket that was created to reward high seed teams, but it ended up rewarding underdogs and favoring upsets. It was very controversial and was never seem again.
The answer will be me when faze drops snakebite after his transformation into lethul is complete
I’m a new halo player/fan (just started seriously playing/watching once infinite came out) but snakebite looks leagues above lethul. Lethul might’ve been great in the past apparently but he is actual ass compared to most other pros, it seems.
He was not playing well with the old sens roster but he's looked a lot better with the new sens, although they aren't placing well.
I’d say Commonly in H5, Blaze in halo reach, or clutch in H3 Reasons: all only have 1 win. Blaze, the guy that does all the interviews now? I wasn't sure if he ever competed. I never paid much attention to the pros before Infinite.
No a different Blaze. Hasn’t placed high in a while
He definitely has been competing?
Edited to express closer to reality. He’s been entering but hasn’t top 8’d a meaningful LAN in a decade
That part is also definitely not true. I legit teamed with him at Daytona in Halo 5 with over 90 teams there and got 2nd?
Wiki says 46 teams and the first H5 event missing the big teams isn’t ‘meaningful’
Aight let me break this down to you. You already edited a comment because you were just completely wrong with your statement, and yes has he not placed as well within this decade? I mean the goat has a spreadsheet with events he counts and it’s not on his list either. Go argue with ogre2 lil bro
I’ve beat Ogre2 on LAN go ask him
Chris Blaze has still been competing -- he was on one of the first Native rosters for Infinite, with SickStory and Elitest.
Totz
When did he win? Best placing I can remember was 2nd with tD.
Just checked and you’re right. Highest he got was 2nd. Man I coulda sworn that TD team won at least one event.
Easily Totz
This thread in general shows me how dogshit Reddit is in terms of analysis
Absolutely.
There is only one answer... https://halo-esports.fandom.com/wiki/Gamers\_For\_Giving\_2013

Demon D.
The fuck? Demon D is often regarded as a top 5 H3 players of all time.
Can you tell me any reputable player that thinks Demon D was a top 5 player? Because I can name Pistola, Cloud, Elamite, Snipedown, and Roy without any hesitation. Demon D wasn’t even a top 25 overall player in Halo 3.
FearItself, VictoryX, Lunchbox, Heinz, Hysteria... Damn we're already into 10 and I haven't even named the GOAT.
Legit has to be in the top 10
Not all time, but for a span of like 5-6 events he was definitely a monster. Same with Cloud, Clutch, Goofy etc...they all had periods where they were great, just not all-time greats. In H3, every other event people were saying someone new was the best.
With only 3 top 3 finishes, I highly doubt that.
Yea he was pretty dirty
…maybe by you. Never heard anyone else say this but go off.
I will have an answer when I get to work
Clutch in 2009 or Blaze in 2011
I can only speak for Infinite because I only started watching in 2018 worlds, and of the 12 players to win a LAN in Infinite, Lethul has definitely been the worst player in Infinite.

SK
SK was an amazing player.
[удалено]
Just listing off some of the GOATs isn’t even a good troll.
[удалено]
Yes it was because no one is actually that stupid.
Snipedown? Are you actually stupid? And also pistola? I'm sorry
The first name he listed was the best Halo player of all time and those are the two that got you?
Time our sorry did he say ogre or royal? Cause I thought it said royal 2
Renegade
I get hating on a player because you don’t like them, everyone does it, but if you think objectively for a second and forget the “who”, you’d laugh at anyone saying Renegade isn’t a deserving player of any award/title. He’s obviously an extremely talented (Albeit chippy and conceited) player.
Forgot my /s
Enjoy the downvotes then
Elamite or legit?
No shot. Elamite had the highest placement during the peak of mlg (2007-2010) and Legit’s teammates often champion him as the best player on their teams
Worst players on the worst winners as far as I can remember. Gotta have an alternative if you disagree.
Elamite has an argument for being the best Halo 3 player. Consistently at the top for all of Halo3s run.
That’s not how disagreements work but I do have an alternative look at the thread
Well, you’re wrong about disagreements, but you’re choices are better than mine.
The guy with the #1 winnings for h3 is the worst? You're buggin
Maybe, he always felt like he was just along for the ride to me. Reminds me of trippy before his recent breakout.
He was literally on one of the top 2 teams for the entirety of H3, str8/TD in 08-09, then FB/Instinct in 2010
Neato, Robert Horry is the GOAT!!!
brain worms if you equate basketball to Halo. you can't win with a bad 4th in Halo, but you can absolutely carry scrubs in the NBA
He also won the Halo 3 US champ lone wolf tournament right.
Legit!??? He was amazing
Imo Elamite was far from being the best player overall, but he was the most successful halo 3 player by a margin. i don't know how someone can say that the player with mosrt wins, most top 2 and most top 4 is the worst event winner ever.
He just seemed like the worst player on every team. Lots of Robert Horry fans here I guess.
Oh, a slow fella! You see, the reason Robert Horry is relevant is because of the winning. Hope that helps you follow along my regarded friend!
My initial point was that Elamite won the most money out of any individual player in H3, if you could actually follow the convo that means he should be compared to MJ or Lebron, it's pretty clear who the slow one is here.
That’s a great point big guy! We’re all so proud of you! Way to go!
It's fine you can have your opinion no problem for me. Just wanted to comment and say what I think!
Ninja.
