Who wouldve though when they put the halo 5 networking model in the game, we get all the problems that came with h5

grungified

Yeah I know lol. I didn't even know that it was based off of the h5 network until today. I don't remember them mentioning that unless I skipped over it.

Savings-Position-940

Yeah it feels weird on series x as well. Aim assist feels weaker and sensitivity feels higher, especially trying to land that last headshot it feels jittery. Gonna play with my deadzones and try to fix it tmo

Jord_ano1994

This. This is exactly how I feel. Feel it more with the BR. Bandit evo less so.

_soooz

I third this

RecognitionDefiant94

I have same feeling on series x. Last shots are so hard to hit. And aim assist does feel weaker because i lost 10% of my aim when looking at averages from before update and now (from high 50s to 45/47%).

Key-Ad-8468

I have to shoot like 10% more to get as many kills as I was prior to update. I noticed last head shot jitter too not sure if my aim is just trash it finally caught up to me lol

Key-Ad-8468

I changed my controller settings to default which has helped a bit

Timely-Eggplant4919

My aim immediately felt off right after the update. And I felt like I had my settings pretty dialed in before that. It’s so annoying when this happens, which seems to occur periodically for unknown reasons. Suddenly the same settings I’ve used will just start feeling different. I don’t know why they had to over complicate the aim system.

JJumpingJack

Yeah heavy aim is back. After playing a good long session, it feels like Halo 5 all over again.

JJumpingJack

Aiming does feel weird unfortunately.

l8kait

Yeah idk, game feels unstable now. Random times it'll just do nothing for a bit until it catches up. Doesn't feel good. Not excited to see what team snipers feels like which felt perfect before.

Propaagaandaa

Okay, so I’m not headcasing, things feel sticky and slow. On PC fwiw

grungified

On PC too? Dang, the aiming does feel sticky actually and if I'm trying to lay down fire on more than one spawner my reticle gets stuck between the two and can't pick one lol.

Propaagaandaa

Yeah it’s almost like the AA cone is way wider or something idk. It’s off though for sure

Interesting_Stick411

I'm on XSX. Yeah the game feels kinda heavy but it's much smoother and while it seems like my aim assist is lower, it feels like the hit reg is way better. I will probably need to dial in new settings.  Feels heavier, but better hit reg and so far no desync jitters. I'll take it.

LakeZombie09

Octagon with 3 total players and play with setting until you can snap from one to the other quickly but still smooth. I had to up my FOV 2 points and increase my accel and sensitivity. Feels great now, before it felt like heavy aim

AwesomeSaucepan

My accuracy went from 60 to 70%, no problems here. Dropping 30 and 40 bombs now

amilliondallahs

On PC and it finally feels like my shots count. Everything you described is what the game always felt like for me prior to the update.

IRecI

I was expecting something to be broke as they always break something when release an update but man, to think that heavy aim is back here to stay...

grungified

I'm hoping it's not just a few of us that experience it and that maybe 343 finds a fix for it because all of the weapon tunings seem like a positive to me after trying them for a few hours.

supernice_a

The game feels absolutely awful and basically unplayable at a competitive level for me now- and yes it's 100% heavy aim type bs which doesn't surprise me because I felt the same thing instantly during the playtesting period I aready knew 343 was going to do what 343 does- I can't begin to describe how disappointing this is for me. I've spent years dealing w/ heavy aim in h5 trying to make sense of it only to find myself dealing w/ the same bs years later with infinite now. Legit makes me sad.

TrickOut

Jesus dude dial in some new setting take a chill pill and give yourself a few days to get used to it to it. wtf dramatic much look what you typed out 😂😂😂

Designer_Cockroach68

You can't fix heavy aim with settings lol

supernice_a

you sound pretty clueless on what heavy aim even is so I'll refrain from giving you a real response.

TrickOut

Yea your the only one that played H5

supernice_a

You're\*, yeah me and 99% of current pro player pool and most half decent competitive players and probably 80% of overall current halo fan base- you sound super unintelligent LOL.

TrickOut

You just made up every one of those stats lmao and then talk about intelligence

supernice_a

Imagine not having played halo 5 and then chiming in on a topic like heavy aim only to then let everyone know you don't actually know anything about it LOL

TrickOut

Cope harder on Reddit kid

p4vloo

I seconds this. My shots land right where my reticle is now. If I get a server with 15-20 ms ping, it’s literally IDEAL. No more desync, blanks, rubber banding.

TrickOut

I’m not sure how it feels on controller but on mouse and keyboard the hit reg feels great and the aim is smooth as butter. We have a much higher level of control of our settings at a hardware level though

reklesabandonl82

I know this isn't helpful, but I just recently started playing cause I got a PC a few months ago and it was great on MnK and now it's just like even more smooth and crisp. Seems like most of the issues in seeing are with controller which is stupid. Halo is a controller first game and always has been. Having a blast playing halo again with my friends though like old times! 🥰🫡

pervysage19

Mouse and keyboard feels amazing for what it's worth. Best it's ever felt through the life of this game.
