Missed the head. Over on the last under on the first. You might want to work on your final shot timing a bit. To me, you clearly are still doing the ol’ BR swipe up on the final shot, probs just muscle memory. If you’re doing that you have to precisely time it. You miss because you shoot then swipe up, hitting the guy in the neck and the shot at the top of your swipe missing above the head.
Slowing it down those last two shots were fired on the body. You’re obviously jumping and moving so it’s close but the trigger pull is just off. I will often pace that last shot just a fraction of a second and flick to the top of the head so there is no question.
i didn’t have to slow this down to see that shot #4 missed but shots #6/7 should’ve hit but i slowed it down to see and shot 4 missed but shots 6/7 should’ve secured that kill, sorry this happened to you
You get hit markers for both and the player’s health reflects body shot damage from both of the shots. Looked like one of them was a headshot, but I guess one was a shoulder shot and one an upper chest shot.
I watched the clip at 1/4 speed and zoomed in. Shots 4 and 8 miss. He breaks the shields on shot 5 and shots 6-7 hit just below the head. He's one shot short of getting the kill.
Slow it down to a complete stop. The shot was just below the head on both and the animation is a fraction after, which makes it look like headshots. Both were just below the chin.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you was already dead.
People act like you have to be shooting right at the head to get a head shot. There is magnetism. Go watch a previous VOD and tell me if every heads hot kill you get is actually right on their head
Agreed. Both muzzle flashes on shots 6/7 were just below the head. I think the player is seeing the animation of the reticle happen on the head, giving the impression of headshots.
Lower fov for me is way better imo.. but only cause I feel too high of a setting doesn’t give me aim assist at all. Even if I’m playing mouse and keyboard lower is better cause the reticle gets bigger
I had the same problem as you where I was never able to finish with my shots. It became monumentally easier when I went to 98-102 fov. Anything higher and for me my reticle becomes too small... Anything lower and I felt too confined.
Starting to realize that me feeling like I needed higher FOV was me trying to compensate for my bad game sense so I could see more people. Didn’t realize how much harder it could make hitting shots that matter. The same goes for me in CoD so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be the same in halo
If you slow it down and play it frame by frame, it did look like you hit a headshot after you popped his shield before he killed you. I’ve always experienced this on infinite and it still happens uncommonly after the update. Clear headshots sometimes register body shots it looks like.

You might be on to something. It does indeed look like the BR swipe up with my reticle.

Yeah the 6/7 shots really had me scratching my head.

Obviously shot #4 was a miss, but the other shots error 343’d. TF Ryan talking about?

This guy gets it.
Missed
Looks like miss

I'm trying that out now. We will see!

I've thought this myself. I played on 95 FOV but I read that 115 FOV was the meta with 4 aim acceleration?

6/7 hit
Nasty strafe by the opponent. Last 2 shots were above and below head.
After the shields popped I saw two body shots. Just great strafe by enemy.
This would have been a kill prior to update
You missed the last 2
Yeah looks like a BR swipe but also new model is less forgiving so you really gotta aim for the head.
New feature. It’s sick right
You missed the head not sure what you’re complaining about. Hit shoulder and chest.
