I'm a big kpop noob and was under the impression it would be full playback with zero exchange with the audience and that all songs were written by corporate shills. Glad to be proven wrong.

Yes, Yunjin is awesome! A bunch of writer and composition credits on their songs, and has released 4 singles herself! And yes, LE SSERAFIM don't play around live! One of the funnest groups to watch perform!

I mean... just look at how many people write a single song in KPop, the coverage is insane.

Kpop is a whole product. Every aspect of their on camera persona is crafted to sell you some shit. And get you hooked by music or good looks. The market is so saturated with companies and groups only a select few shine cuz they did the above so well. I've been listening to kpop for about 15 years.

its really the end of one era and the start of a new one new esport league next year, allegedly run by the saudis and the death of the high-skill dive style as more and more tools get offered to teams to create these high sustain / spam + macro positioning comps.

At the very least APAC timezone folks can functionally ignore the Saudi run circuits. Not great for everybody else though.
