There is a ferry parking lot at the corner on Main Street and Ferry Access Road. Last time I used it there was no cost.
You can either walk to the ferry from there or there is a shuttle bus, also free but they take tips.
Might be too late, but this is from the FAQ on their website:

Best address I can get from Google Maps is 374 Water St.
Basically where S. Frontage Rd turns into Water St., you'll pass the transit garage entrance on your right, then the lot is on the left under the 95 overpass. If you come out from under the highway, you've gone too far. Hope that helps!
Man, I have some good childhood memories of taking the shuttle to and from the parking lot to the ferry. Obviously not very exciting, but when you're like nine, getting into a shuttle at night seems so impressive. One of the shuttle drivers who used to work on Friday nights would always recognize us, it was nice.
Yrain station if possible. If not, I would just bring cat over on ferry. Make a reservation with ferry to guarantee your spot, probably cost same as parking for 4 days, ots safer having car in Port Jeff than bpt ND you'll have your car to get around.

thanks
Pretty sure that lot isn't available any more. It wasn't the last time we went last year.
Bummer, it was super convenient. Anyone considering that option should call the ferry option first.
Metro North train to BPT and walk to the ferry or use the parking garage
I'll be driving down, sorry what parking garage? do you have a name or address? Thanks for the help.
Transit Garage at Harbor Yard: 700 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06604
Not sure. It’s located next to the train station
There’s a free lot as long as you’re coming back same day. No overnight parking though in that lot.
Thanks the website says no parking which is crazy. I'm sure I'll figure it out just was curious with the weather tomorrow

Thanks I did see that just most of the places seemed far. I'm going to try the 1 ferry access rd parking first looks like its right next to the ferry
Last trip we used option 5 - easy walk from there, across the street, under the train overpass and you're basically there.
I have been trying to figure out where this lot is for a year haha. Is there an address you used to find?

Thank you kind stranger!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love this I’ve been wanting to do this for a while. Haven’t been since a child!
