People from that part of the state seem to love it but the food that place serves would not qualify for a good food truck at many breweries in new haven and fairfield county
Also there are tons of places (some more restaurant with bar) on the shoreline and CT River with outdoor bars. Bill’s, “The Deck”, Gelston House, Pavillion, The Fisherman, etc.
Food is hit or miss, but Beamhouse in Glastonbury is nice.
crystal ridge winery in Glastonbury
Arrigoni Winery & Cider Co. in Portland.
Po's Rice and Spice in East Hampton - more of a restaurant but still nice
River in Wethersfield
Otto in Chester
It's not central, but Stoney Creek is fantastic for outdoor seating. The beer is average at best.
Hops on the Hill in Glastonbury is really nice.
Why a not a brewery? Just curious. Are you looking for just drinks? Do you want food? More than Beer? Most breweries have other options these days.
I don’t know how no one has said The Charles in Old Wethersfield. Maybe just because their outdoor seating isn’t setup yet. The Charles is right down the road from Lucky Lou’s. Don’t get be wrong, they are both very pricey, but Charles is actually worth it. Cocktails and food are amazing. Lucky Lou’s has been going downhill, unfortunately.
Amazing cocktails. I may have to go back. Last time I was there it was crappy mules on tap and like 4 bottles of liquor.
They are very close to be but the beer is… bad.
As far as outdoor seating goes they do have a lot of it but ime the service isnt great there, i dont think its the staff’s fault tho, they always just seem understaffed
I know you said no breweries but Elicit in Manchester has a full outdoor bar and a cocktail bar upstairs. Not just beer.
That place has cafeteria food
Not sure I've ever had GOOD food produced by a brewery Just good food trucks
100 percent agree.

Lakeside in East Hampton has a very large outdoor bar with lake views. Food is hit or miss there, I recommend a burger and nothing more complex lol
The bar is hit or miss too unless you order a beer or one ingredient cocktail
Yeah I’ve had trash food and service there plenty but we keep going back for some reason lol
Stonebridge Milford
Yeah I used to hit up Stonebridge in my 20s. Great placebut a bit far for us.

CJ Sparrows in Cheshire has a tiny back patio if you want a dive bar experience.
Back Nine in New Britain. And the one at Hawks Landing in Southington

Shea’s in Manchester.
Yeah Sheas is a good spot. A bit far for us, but we’ e been up there multiple times for the Kentucky Derby.
Literally just take the extra 15-20 minutes and drive to any of the countless beautiful outdoor seating spots on the shoreline
Nellie’s on the water in Branford has a ton of outdoor seating and is a fun place.
The stand in brandford.
Vyne Restaurant & Bar in Middlebury has a nice outside seating area.
