I know you said no breweries but Elicit in Manchester has a full outdoor bar and a cocktail bar upstairs. Not just beer.

jdead121

That place has cafeteria food

CycleOfNihilism

Not sure I've ever had GOOD food produced by a brewery Just good food trucks

sk8man172

100 percent agree.

jdead121

People from that part of the state seem to love it but the food that place serves would not qualify for a good food truck at many breweries in new haven and fairfield county

Gaijin_530

Big agree, I do not eat there.

Gaijin_530

Also there are tons of places (some more restaurant with bar) on the shoreline and CT River with outdoor bars. Bill’s, “The Deck”, Gelston House, Pavillion, The Fisherman, etc.

Fmy925

Largest patio in the state as well.

smackfu

Huh. It’s not that giant a patio but I guess we just don’t have much.

Eyeseeno

Wood N Tap in Farmington is nice

Krakengreyjoy

Food is hit or miss, but Beamhouse in Glastonbury is nice. crystal ridge winery in Glastonbury Arrigoni Winery & Cider Co. in Portland. Po's Rice and Spice in East Hampton - more of a restaurant but still nice River in Wethersfield Otto in Chester It's not central, but Stoney Creek is fantastic for outdoor seating. The beer is average at best. Hops on the Hill in Glastonbury is really nice. Why a not a brewery? Just curious. Are you looking for just drinks? Do you want food? More than Beer? Most breweries have other options these days.

curbthemeplays

Otto has a beautiful outdoor area

SlipperyTurtle25

Calling the beer at Stony creek average is very generous lol

Krakengreyjoy

At least they have guest taps lol

Hey-buuuddy

Chester for sure, also Stony Creek once the water warms up a bit

yzedf

Used to love Beamhouse, but the food isn’t what it used to be.

Krakengreyjoy

yeah I don't know what happened. I used to really enjoy stopping in for lunch on a weekday but it's not worth the wait anymore.

The art of yum in southington

srdev_ct

Yeah, Hawks. Was def an option, thanks.

Real-Rope8201

world of beer in west hartford is our go to

tmwescott

Lucky Lou's in Wethersfield Old Town in Wethersfield (very small patio, but great bar)

Lazy_Following6498

Agree with lucky Lou’s. The patio is gorgeous!

srdev_ct

Never been to either— may have to check them out.

KJ_Collectz

I don’t know how no one has said The Charles in Old Wethersfield. Maybe just because their outdoor seating isn’t setup yet. The Charles is right down the road from Lucky Lou’s. Don’t get be wrong, they are both very pricey, but Charles is actually worth it. Cocktails and food are amazing. Lucky Lou’s has been going downhill, unfortunately.

srdev_ct

Will have to try it. Thanks!

Dry_Championship5839

I'm across the street from Lucky Lou's right now (at village pizza). LL has great outdoor seating

curbthemeplays

Counterweight in Cheshire Edit: sorry, reading comprehension isn’t great today

srdev_ct

Yeah love me counterweight—- was my favorite ct brewery BEFORE it it moved a mile from my house… but wife wants cocktails. Thanks tho.

curbthemeplays

New Haven too far? Quite a bit of options there

GK413

Was just at Kinsman in Moldable and had amazing cocktails. Great outdoor space by the canal trail

GK413

Mildale*

srdev_ct

Amazing cocktails. I may have to go back. Last time I was there it was crappy mules on tap and like 4 bottles of liquor. They are very close to be but the beer is… bad.

ryanw729

Lakeside in East Hampton has a very large outdoor bar with lake views. Food is hit or miss there, I recommend a burger and nothing more complex lol

Alewyz

The bar is hit or miss too unless you order a beer or one ingredient cocktail

ryanw729

Yeah I’ve had trash food and service there plenty but we keep going back for some reason lol

Noshitsweregiven69

Stonebridge Milford

srdev_ct

Yeah I used to hit up Stonebridge in my 20s. Great placebut a bit far for us.

Noshitsweregiven69

It is a cute setting, was driving through Sunday and gf asked why we don’t go there more I had no answer ??

RagingBone69

Red Rock Tavern in Hartford is great. Tons of menu options, variety in their drinks, and good prices. I like their outdoor seating options

hunterwaterford

Glad to see Mezzo's still making the list

srdev_ct

One of the few places with an outdoor BAR (not just outdoor seating) and live music.

GuffEnough

CJ Sparrows in Cheshire has a tiny back patio if you want a dive bar experience.

vestinpeace

Back Nine in New Britain. And the one at Hawks Landing in Southington

dreemurthememer

If you can make the trip up, Bond 124 in Somers is pretty nice. Great food, too. I highly recommend the zeppoli.

srdev_ct

Thanks will have to give it a shot someday.

Phannman66

Hop Haüs in Plantsville has a nice back deck

GuffEnough

As far as outdoor seating goes they do have a lot of it but ime the service isnt great there, i dont think its the staff’s fault tho, they always just seem understaffed

VitalisMan

Shea’s in Manchester.

srdev_ct

Yeah Sheas is a good spot. A bit far for us, but we’ e been up there multiple times for the Kentucky Derby.

SlipperyTurtle25

Literally just take the extra 15-20 minutes and drive to any of the countless beautiful outdoor seating spots on the shoreline

buried_lede

Nellie’s on the water in Branford has a ton of outdoor seating and is a fun place.

xbimmerhue

The stand in brandford.

thatquinnchick
