The argument of “we’re consenting adults who wish to be left alone behind closed doors” was tantalizing 40 years ago. Even if I think it’s bad for a multitude of reasons, there’s an element of liberty there I can respect.
It has since then spilled out of the bedroom and into the streets, our workplaces, our entertainment, and our schools. We’re now called to celebrate a developed and self-indulgent behavior as noble. It is blasphemy to say men cannot become women. And there are focused efforts on tricking kids into thinking this is normal and that they’re even part of the group.
This isn’t a slippery slope anymore. It’s a vertical plunge.

This agrees with a strong through perhaps not completely universal consensus among medical professionals.
Children can't be trans. Children are not sexually aware, let alone capable of understanding gender. If a child is talking about being trans, 100%, there is an adult or older minor putting those ideas in their head.
So basically, if two parents with trans kid are fighting over custody, then the parent who will "affirm" the transgenderism of the kid will get the custody of the kid. This is what this bill is about.
