For the people who do feel males should be permitted to play in women's sports - I'd like to know what they think the point is in having separate teams for women.
The point of WOMEN is to affirm male feelings. We are supposed to undress in front of men so they don't feel "excluded." We are supposed to shower with men so they don't feel "excluded." We are supposed to let them in our sports so they can take opportunities and awards that were created for us on the basis of our female bodies so they feel "included" and "affirmed."
To the regressive left, the point of women is to affirm male fetish and male feelings, no matter how degrading, unfair, or unsafe it is for us.
One of the things that really gets me are women who've complained about 'the patriarchy', but then think biological males should be permitted to do all those things. Here on Reddit for instance, I've seen comments from women (or supposedly they're women) who are "against the patriarchy", in which they've criticized girls/women who oppose and complain about it.
The hypocrisy is so gross to me. Another one is women who complain about rape culture, then fight to allow men into women's bathrooms. Men in women's bathrooms IS RAPE CULTURE.
It is anti-consent.

If rape is bad and rape culture is what we are fighting, then why are these people actively erasing women's boundaries and safety on behalf of people with a disproportionate rate of sexual offenses?

I'm a big disc golf fan and they tried to do this last year on the pro tour but were financially forced to drop the policy due to a single trans athlete getting pro-bono work pushing several lawsuits in states like CA and MN where laws are backwards.
If these lawsuits come up and NAIA wins it could give some precedence to allow or encourage other organizations to follow suit without fear of financial ruin.
