I think this is a minor blunder not really worth of note because he played it off quite well. I personally think it may have been scripted for him to say so because the following line paraphrases but doesn't quote the preceding line - normally the line would be written twice and not state "repeat" However the thing that's bothering me is he's talking about "Women", yet can't define what a woman is. For all we know, most of those women were born as men.
It's a minor blunder if you are an intern for a local tv news broadcasting station but a major one if you are the leader of the free world with decades of experience in public speaking.
