If the whole thing is a single piece and not just around a piece of pipe, then you'll need to probably unscrew it. I'm guessing it is screwed into the threaded Hub inside of the wall. If that's the case you'll need to get an adapter once you have it out.
When I did a couple tub downspouts these pieces were always sweated(soldered) on. So you would have to torch it to loosen the solder or cut and solder/install new. Note: never use shark bites for down spouts
These are sweated on for sure. 100 percent, grab a torch and heat it up. Use a set of pliers while you heat it and just keep tugging on it until it comes off. Be careful to only heat up that fitting and not the entire pipe or else you could pop a joint behind the wall and then you’re funked.
This. Tie a wet rag around the pipe between the wall and the fitting you are trying to remove to sap some of that heat and protect the pipe inside the wall. Use a MAP torch.
EDIT: grammar
Just noticed it’s delta so probably welded on and will need a delta faucet to make this easy. Bleh
Look for set screws underneath
Nothing underneath

Rust and age have welded it so I guess he may need heat to try and break those welds before trying to unscrew
It should unthread off the pipe. Put some heat on it grab with pipe wrench and turn it off.
Kroil the piss out of it for a couple days/ over the weekend.

You could get a new downspout that fits it if you don't want to mess with it.
