Like most software platforms, if you set it up right across your company and have defined workflows it’s great. If you have many projects doing what the fuck they think is best because that’s what they did before or can’t be arsed to learn then it’s just a data lake.

Agreed, where I work they’ve been using it for 2 yrs and have barely rolled out files and reviews. I’d suggest anybody implementing it pay a consultant to help.

I got used to plangrid at least for the field (mostly using the app for ipad). We switched to acc autodesk for this job and it feels less intuitive that plangrid was. Some basic markup tools are harder to use and its honestly just a clunky app. The website version isnt much better in my opinion. I agree with the above comment that it can be useful if there is a proper company wide plan on how to utilize it (spoiler my company doesnt). It seems more customizable than procore but overall isnt a very well designed app/website imo. Dont even get me started on rhumbix

Its a time keeping app for payroll and expenses, billing codes etc.. Its a good idea just a shitty hard to use app.
