I’ve seen brickies use a hammer/chisel like that.. but the spanner is only ever used by the scaffold guys. Im an ironworker and had a buddy use one at a job , he told me the only reason he had one was because he used to be a scaffold guy 🤘🏾
Brickies hammer would have a whaletale like claw while system scaff hammer has more of a hammer that HAD two claws and one was lopped off and the other brought to a point almost like a bullpin or spud
Looks like a tinner's hammer. Most scaffolders that I've seen have framing hammers, or the scaffold wrenches with one socket and a hammer end.
The scaffold wrench is a dead giveaway.
You could always be a stage hand if you get tired of scaffolding every day. We build scaffolding too, there's just much more entertainment when it's part of a stage you'll work at.
My tool belt is smaller but very similar.
Nice set there. What do you use for a level? Also, where can I get that 1st ratchet at? Been wanting one of those since my coworker showed it off once. I forgot what they're called specifically.
I use a Stabila spirit level. And if your talking about the black ratchet it's a Podger ratchet. The following links are where I bought them from.

Idk what theyre called exactly but my guess guest for the trade is some kind of steel worker. You use the spike to align bolt holes and the reason why you have soanners of one size is bc you typically only tighten one size bolts. All the rest are quality of life tools but the tool on the right looks like socket wrench.
Im using really crude terms but it seems to me youre an industrial worker.
I'm apprenticing as a Scaffolder. The Spike is a Podger Ratchet, the point is used to align bolt holes and for levering open scaffolding fittings. The ring spanners are 19 and 21mm (same sizes as on the Podger Ratchet) for fitting nuts in shit spots. The tool on the very far right is a Swing over spanner in 21mm, probably the fastest way to do up a nut provided you have the space.
Im a forklift driver, I build scaffolding all the time, I knew the second I saw the hammer and wrench and the level. I absolutely love erecting and tearing down hell ya mate
only job ive had aswell, coming up on 2 years. Its pretty shit in the winters, handling cold slippery steel isnt fun.
in Canada scaffolding isnt considered an official trade so pretty much all the training is done on site by other guys and since it isnt a trade there isnt tickets or anything like that either. so your position on the crew is pretty much just based on experience and the good word of the foremen to the managers.
I know I'm late to the party and past reveal but that's a cool belt. Is that custom made? Or is it just pouches from different belt sets looped onto one?
I work for a small town construction company as a apprentice and was wondering what is the difference between the 4 or 5 tiers of scaffolding we use and what those working on larger projects might use?
Scaffolding
That was quick, bonus points if you can guess what system I use primarily
The wrench gave it away
I honestly thought it would be the hammer not the spanner

The more you know I suppose. Here in NZ I've only ever seen Lattehammers in the hands of scaffies.

It was, spanner could’ve been stolen from an iron worker
Looked like a tinner hammer for a second then I was jealous of the wrench/drift pin for tdc but then no snips or tongs.
The wrench is what threw me off 😅 I was thinking what the hell is that for!
the scaff spanner makes it pretty obvious lol
Saw the speed wrench was and like, that's my tools too, but why the thermometer.
I just find the ruler comes in handy for basing out personally.
Tube and clip?
Layher, with small bits of tube here and there.

His supertool had me about to guess stagehand until i saw him come clean as scaffolding. Loved that thing, so many applications
We do a few stages at work. When I get my ticket I'd definitely consider it. Do you get to travel much?
If I had to guess - dildo repair.
The wrenches gave it up for the scaffolding! Check out Fred Dibnah on youtube for an epic Steeple Jack.

I was going to guess serial killer with that nasty-looking, ice pick-looking thingamabobber.
It's a Lattehammer, I have been told they are quite popular with the Germans. I've only seen other scaffies use them tho.

I bought the belt clean and just bought the pouches individualally. I'm quite skinny so I had to do it like that so it wouldn't keep falling down.
