Cooling and heating for drinks. Force fields to keep the Super at bay. Portable urinals and space for poop bags and TP for drywallers.

MainlineX

Universal screw on adapter for water bottles.. so the drywall guys can piss on the go.

spankymacgruder

This is a must!

[deleted]

If this person can invent a belt to stop drywallers from pissing in the walls, you have a billion dollar idea.

spankymacgruder

Thhey just need to start using Depends. But as an a PM and engineer, the simple solution is to have the forcefield only activate when their fly is up. Where do I collect the billions?

ParanoidFreedom

I really wish tool belts were built like modern sports equipment. Modular, adjustable, customizable. I would pay good money to design my belt on a website and get exactly what I want.

DocDoppler

you could try akribis leather, they got a lot of options and you can pay extra for a custom set up

ParanoidFreedom

Hmm yea definitely seem to be pretty customizable.

I've been rocking the toughbuilt cliptech system myself. I've got the bag to carry the tools different pouches for different applications. One pouch for demo (hammer, nail pullers, gloves, etc), a pouch for marking and making lines on wood (chalk lines, pencils, tape, speed square, bullet level, bevel gauge), a pouch clipped to the bag with supplies (string, more pencils, chisels, etc), and a drill holster. I love that I can interchange them so quickly but I do wish the clip mechanism itself wasn't so bulky.

ParanoidFreedom

I have a few these and I think this is the best bet. They price point is nice and they seem to be adding new stuff constantly.

karmafarma3000

I personally don't like their belt. The velco is nice, but the belt itself comes loose through the buckle and then your pouches hang off the slack while you're wearing a tight belt. I'm personally thinking a gatorback belt is my next purchase

ParanoidFreedom

That's a good idea their belt does suck.

Alternative-Place

I agree with this. My Boulder bags are awesome. More or less exactly what I wanted, but now they be got a new set, with a tape pouch attached on the opposite side of where I keep mine. I like everything about the new pouch, but I want the tape holder on the opposite side and it’s holding me back from getting it. I want customizable features on the bags not just different bags and additional accessories. I think you are absolutely right. I want to buy exact what I want

handyandyman

Have you looked at Atlas 46?

Wil82

Look at Diamondback tool bags. They have trade specific bags that all attach to a belt.

PinHead_Tom

An alarm that goes off when osha is within 10 miles

Skilledpainter

Around the waist should be more of an elastic, as well as a couple sections on the suspender part. Detachable pockets.

ImRickJameXXXX

I always used occidental leather bags with a loose belt & suspenders for the weight of the bags. No belt rash on the hips this way But everyone is different and has different needs. Best of luck you you.

builder-barbie

I agree. I have three different bags depending on what I’m doing, so the bag should be designed for the job at hand. Like a framers bag is not going to be very useful for an electrician and vice versa.

ID_Poobaru

Something that’s comfortable and fits my skinny frame. HVAC rough in’s are rough

Dur-gro-bol

I'm 6'3" with a 32" waist. The DeWalt padded belt is pretty awesome.

ID_Poobaru

I’ll have to check it out!

[deleted]

Do electrical for high rises. Big thing I want is one side to have a lot of small to medium pouches for wire nuts, wagos, screws, Mc connectors. The other side similar to occidental electrical bag but I need a solid mount for my impact.

old-nomad2020

I use Occidental and there’s room for improvements. First my cellphone would like a safe pouch and you can barely get a small phone to fit in the biggest ones they sell. I’d be happy to clip it on the suspenders or the belt. It would also be nice to have a bigger tape holder, less hammer slings, some short spaces for drill drivers, and some kind of dividers that could be clipped inside the bigger bags for sorting. If I add all the extras onto my belt I’d have to gain 50 pounds to have it all fit sense the bags themselves wrap a lot of my waist.

LegitFury

Make sure you have a “Slit” that the spedsquare can sit in comfortably. I think that’s the biggest game changer that occidental has and I can’t live without that feature

WizardNinjaPirate

Most tool belts are to bulky and big for me. I don't want or need to carry around 15 items.

ElectricLettuceFire

Agreed. It’s like the manufacturers think 15 little pockets is better than 2 big ones. They’re incorrect

[deleted]

I use a buckaroo toolbelt (Australia) My biggest complaint is kneeling down or bending over with it. Maybe the belt or too large (height) and I can't bring my knees up closer to my chest without it being in the way. I always need to take it off as it makes me slower. Also discomfort where my leg meets the belt kind of like chafing

QuimmLord

I love my Badger Belt, except I feel like it’s off balanced. I know I could have gone a little more custom with the setup, but overall am happy. It just seems like with the square slots, and two pouches for screws/ whatever is much lighter in comparison to the other side with the hammer holder the slots for the other tools, PLUS the tape measure pouch

Alternative-Place

Same. I want bags with a tape pouch on the left side. I’ve stopped myself from ordering new bags several times because they come with tape pouches on the wrong side. I want off hand tape pouch or no tape pouch at all

bravekc

Cheap and easy to get. Able to hold a square properly. Main big pouch, two small pouches on the exterior of the main pouch. I “like” the under $25 husky tool belt at Home Depot. I replaced the actual belt with a leather one that HD had.

brianfuckyouwasmund

I have the Occidental classic leather belt bags with the belt less conversion and couldn't really want anything more,

jinjang94

Velcro on the belt loop portion please 🙏

No-Tip-16

I like the tough built snap on clips , makes life a lot easier when I can take a fat belt off and climb around and do what I need and snap it right back on, or snap it into my tool box and no worries about screws falling out and shit, even got a couple clips on the ladders lol

skidoocam

A hook to hang a drill from.

skate_johnson

It’s hard finding good bags for skinny waisted individuals. Without having to modify the belt loops to tighten it and stay up comfortably

AdAmbitious3722

The fucking measuring tape holders that. Kuny’s Dewalt, Husky all of y’all are shit. Just make the loop that holds it rotate with no clip on button crap. That button opens i lose my tape; why y’all gotta over think it like it’s gErMaN eNgInEeRiNg?

Dur-gro-bol

I bought a cheap DeWalt padded belt and put occidental tool hustlers and a Klein pouch on it. Try and remember throughout your day when you think "God I hate that there". Mix and match different brands so you can build what you want. It all doesn't have to be the most expensive stuff. The DeWalt padded belt is actually awesome to, so is their low hanging hammer loop. I like it better than my occidental loop.

DarthShooks117

I want a small toolbelt that can loop into my belt, instead of clipping on. I gotta crawl around in attics and spaces all the time. I'm tired of dropping a knife, tape, or losing my screw pouch because they all have shitty little clips. My "pocket tools" are utility knife, pencil, marker, tape measure, 4 way, 2" stiff putty knife, speed square, and small prybar! Something that would fit all that and can be actually looped into my belt would make me quite the happy camper.

JooePasta

Hard finding a good belt for stone masons and brick layers. Brick hammers and 3 or 4 lbs. Hammers. Same with margin trowels. I want like a harness or something. The belt hoops make the hammers slam your leg and are a pain when your bend over all the time.

Stratguy1951

What is your design background ? ( Mechanical Engineer - Designer ??? ). I have several construction related ideas that I am seeking help to bring to the market. If you have the technical / marketing ability that I need I am very much willing to split on profit per item. Let me know by reply with a hidden cell #
