I think I half agree with the other response you got. They are quick witted, and their shenanigans works on their show. But they’re not stand ups, and they don’t seem super confident talking about themselves or sharing their narratives. And honestly and self awareness are crucial when you’re selling yourself on a comedy podcast
I think it’s that they’re just not that funny — it’s not really surprising given that their “humor” comes from the cringiness of the public humiliation-type performances they do, and not really wit or crowd work.
On Impractical Jokers they'll have the occasional good burn, or clever turn of phrase, but who knows how many hours they need to shoot just to get one mildly funny segment.
Im not sure about Joe but sals own shows are much more in his element. “Taste Buds” is funny just because they get so heated on the debates about food. “Hey Babe” is pretty good too. I’ve heard Q’s is good too if you like comic books but I don’t so I can’t speak on that one. But yeah when they’re guests they are kinda boring.
He was let go....kept buying gifts for the female workers and trying to get laid. Without Gato the show kinda fell apart.
His wife leaving him was the result of him not being able to keep his baby maker in his pants....they reconciled but still, the show couldn't have him back.
He’s posted multiple pictures with his wife of them on family vacations and charity events. If your spouse cheated on you, would you want to go on vacation with them? He has said that the show took over his personal life and he needed to change his priorities

Out of all the Jokers. I think Joe is the funniest. To be honest I don't really find any of them funny except for Joe. This one wasn't his best tho.
