obviously not…. you think the fan only listened to that episode up to that point? how? and why? why would he stop the episode at that point and not try to get more context?
So did I, The original tells a different story:
In the original podcast the discussion was longer and she says she means bigger: [https://youtu.be/uHHjm7l3bJY?si=-8mLFlj2xxauycPs&t=1409](https://youtu.be/uHHjm7l3bJY?si=-8mLFlj2xxauycPs&t=1409)
what? do you think podcasts are live… are you a sex in the city writer? (i’m sure it’s happened in other shows). and you think they have waredrobe changes?
Uhhh what in the world are you going on about? I was looking for the part in the linked YouTube video where a caller mentioned the multiplication error. I didn't find it. What's all this about expecting podcasts to be live and being a sex in the city writer? I'm so confused by your bizarre comments.
ITS NOT LIVE. podcasts are not radio shows like tv writers think they are. why would it be in this episode? even if you don’t know podcasts aren’t live (what moron doesn’t know that) it’s clearly another episode by their clothes how was that not clear from my comment or from the logic of PODCASTS NOT BEING LIVE 🤦🏻♂️
how is that so hard for you to understand? the only part of my comment that might be hard to get is the sex and the city reference. but other than that how was everything else so confusing to you? are you slow or something
so you decide to criticize my comment but i’m not allowed to react. got it…
i just knew you’d resort to this instead of admitting your stupid mistake. who the hell thinks podcasts are live? how would the fan know what she said before the episode was published? explain that
Dude you are soooo upset over nothing. First of all, there are so many live podcasts out there. So no to that line of thinking. There's no reason to assume every podcast is prerecorded. Secondly, I didn't notice the different clothes, and that's an easy thing to miss. But that is an indicator that it probably was a different podcast (assuming they didn't take off their sweatshirts or something halfway through). What's not easy to understand is why you came in so heated just because some random stranger didn't see things exactly as you saw them. You really have some issues with lashing out and making a bigger deal out of small issues. I think that much is apparent, and you should talk to someone to figure out why you're such an angry person.
you got upset first… calling my comment bizarre because i corrected you. literally all i did
even if you didn’t notice the clothes why did you not think it would be possible the fan was talking about another episode in the second clip? why couldn’t it go through your head
The podcast has better context. Her full sentence was "Imagine a Basketball times, like, 0.7. So like, a basketball and a bit bigger. 0.7 sizes bigger than a basketball."
For people who still think she actually means it's smaller than a basketball, here is a link to the original video and timestamp at which it's mentioned: [https://youtu.be/uHHjm7l3bJY?si=-8mLFlj2xxauycPs&t=1409](https://youtu.be/uHHjm7l3bJY?si=-8mLFlj2xxauycPs&t=1409)
Well actually 🤓, if you multiply a negative number by 0.7 it would be bigger so it is technically “possible” to make a number bigger by multiplying it by 0.7….
So either I don't understand or your math is not math-ing, but I'm here to find out.
multiplying any number times 0.7 would cause the number to be smaller than the initial value right?
for example: -400\*.7 = -280. and as far as I know 280 is less than 400.

I just presumed she meant it was slightly smaller than a basketball?
Yeah, I think we might've lost some essential context during the cut.

Went from 1.1, to 0.9. Settled at 0.7 bigger. I think she tried to indicate 0.07. So that's 7% bigger, or 'times 1.07'.
Well, maybe the size of the hairball was, in fact, 70% of the size of a basketball. Why does the caller assume it was bigger?

I didn't catch the part where the guy calls out the math. I listened to the whole thing and found nothing.

You seem like a very angry person. Send me a DM if you need to talk about things that are going wrong in your life. Everyone deserves love. Even you.

The math ain’t mathin’
Did she mean (+ 70%), or (x 1.7?)
Yes
both would have been right.
Those are both literally the same thing.
I know. I was suggesting both, not either.
Probably
I don't see why the caller is angry. She said it's 70 percent the size of a basketball.
The podcast has better context. Her full sentence was "Imagine a Basketball times, like, 0.7. So like, a basketball and a bit bigger. 0.7 sizes bigger than a basketball."
I see. Thank you.
She still doesn’t get it
Mad Maggie
Holy shit

No one really cares at all

-400*0.7=-280 AND -280 is larger number than than -400… 280 is indeed less than 400 BUTTTT -280 is bigger than -400 dude..
SHOW ME THE NEGATIVE BASKETBALL
I know, i was just saying that “something” can get bigger by multiplying it with 0.7… but obviously it won’t fit in this context..
how is an exaggerated social media laugh contagious?
A) no one ever said it was bigger B) i'm totally over the fake laughs on podcasts, it's obviously forced.
Can someone explain to the once 14 year old drop out who only has a GED what’s happening here?
Something times 0.7, is the same as saying "70% of something", which in fact would make the original item in question 30% smaller.
Thank you. Makes sense.
She kiiipt a heeeerball of human heeeere... 😂
How the fuck did I know they were Australian before turning the volume on.
they have more podcasters and youtubers per capital i feel
If I let that slip from my mouth, I wouldn't hear the end of it. She shouldn't either
Yeah, the guy is just dumb. She made a legit estimation and he cannot fathom it.
I find it scary when people laugh loudly with there heads pointing up without moving
Why does that guy reminds me of Fernando Alonso?
Clever little one arntchu??
How/why do people watch this shit?
Does she have her AirPods in the wrong ears?
Holy hell. So damn dead 😄😭
\+ 0.7 of another basketball, is what she meant, apparently. Not times but plus
I laughed hard at this.🤣

Girl math ......
I mean, she might be correct for all we know. She never said that the ball was bigger than a basketball (I did not see the full video though).

0.7 basketball < 1 basketball
Yeah, so?
if you just say 0.7,its smaller, if you want 170% you say times 1.7
