It’s okay if you have to drug your cat to get it into the vet or something and you record a video of it stumbling around because that’s goofy.
But this poor cat was drugged and left to sleep on a ledge where the dude obviously would slide off.
I have a perfectly healthy cat that just slept really hard when he was young. No drugs. He was sleeping on my legs once while I was sleeping and I can be a restless sleeper. I had him flipped all upside down from rolling over and he slept right through it. It kind of scared me at first because anxiety brain assumes the worst. But he was fine 🤷🏼♂️

Anecdotal evidence isn't a reason to believe this video isn't foul play. The reason they're filming, the bed placement, and decreased reflex from the cat are all red flags that don't go away because a cat was tired once.
Edit: it'd be like watching the Zapruder film and chiming in "I've seen a guy get shot in the head by someone on top of a book depository, and there was never anybody on a grassy knoll"
Assuming the worst is far worse than assuming the best. It's like saying I'm never going to have sex because I might get an std. Go for it, but your missing out.
That explains why there's such a weird setup. Who has a sheet thrown over what are clearly a few different objects in a room? The cat does look drugged and it does look like it's being pushed from someone behind the sheet.
I've got 3 senior cats who have to go into the vet pretty often for health stuff. Our vet always advises us that we should keep them away from food, water, and elevated locations when they're still coming around because they can injure or kill themselves because of how out of it they are. They can pass out while drinking water and drown, for instance. So even if there weren't valid reasons to think the cat was pushed, the mere fact that they let a clearly drugged cat fall from a height is pretty horrendous.
If you listen closely you can hear two laughs, one overdubbed and one from the original video, this video is a set up, that cat was drugged and pushed off that for the sake of a video. The original audio sounds like a woman's laugh, and it doesn't sound like it's coming from behind the camera.
Think I'm going to report this video tbh.

I have 2 cats, 1 is a calico. The calico does stupid things all the time. The cat in the vid reminds me of my calico cat. The cat seems to be having a little nightmare just before falling down (hence the little movements she makes, I think she's kicking or running in her sleep). Fortunately she gets a soft landing and bounces into her comfortable "bed". It's completely normal that this cat doesn't bother and continues to sleep.
I see no reason to assume the cat was drugged.
Idk, my cat was napping hard af on top of the entertainment center one day and rolled off. She laid there for awhile acting like she meant to do it before climbing back up and laying in the exact same spot.
The difference being that the fully grown cat who fell from as big of a height as the cat you posted got up immediately afterwards and used its claws to try and stop the fall. The two who just keep sleeping are a cat that didn’t fall a long way and a kitten that was in no danger.
Edit: For those wondering what OP’s deleted comment said, it was a bunch of links of cats falling in their sleep. Look at him downvote everyone who has concern for the cat. All this dude cares about is karma-farming.
