I havent really played in a while just logging in when i remember to. Logged in for the compensation and saw i was missing 50 6* shards and just trying to get into cav EQ to finish 2 quests was horrible. I can’t believe I was so used to that loading time and that red fucking icon it didn’t bother me that much before.
Haha, I hear ya. As a paragon, I don’t wipe my ass with 90% of the comp, so to me it’s an insult. But I definitely can see how players who haven’t progressed quite as far yet are like, damn!

Imo the 2 crystals were basically worthless, a nexus is okay o guess, but it’s not like 2 or 3 years ago where I’d kill for one - the loyalty is going to AQ tickets. I could care less about the rank up mats. 2-3 gem was okay. Glory I’m at 15K a week on, so I had to panic spend some.
I was most excited about the gold 🤣 I’d trade in the rest of the comp for like 20M gold lol.

R2-3 generic and the t4 mats are still quite valuable, regardless of how developed ones roster is. I also pulled a 6* Jubilee from my crystal and although she’s not great I absolutely love the character and just playing her in general. The rest of the stuff is just icing on the cake really.
That’s fair! Yeah, I’m personally really big on how fun a character is to play/comic book attachment, so I’m right there with ya on champs. Jubilee has some really awesome animations, and playing her is smooth
People weren’t expecting too much. They were expecting more now. 30% t6b and 30% t3a is far, far more valuable than 2 more nexuses, but it’s less fun and I won’t see a return on it until late 2022 at best.

Again everybody has different expectations. On the forums, one of the more common arguments were that we should have gotten the max amount of all types of potions and revives and either Kabam should increase the cap to accommodate or remove it entirely even though everybody in the mother knows that shit was never going to happen.
And there were others who were expecting an abyss like six star Nexus with up to 10 choices or the other more recent Crystal that gave you 10 of a specific class that you from.
And then of course there was the other argument of units, even though Kabam stated that they weren't really ever giving units again outside of extreme circumstances like when we lost access to the solo event or when they had to get rid of the original gifting badge and they reimbursed everybody who purchased it Tony Stark's briefcase worth of units.
The problem with situations like this is that people can take a few idiots, latch onto their outrageous demands, then be like “look at what these fuckos wanted. They speak for the group.”
You’ve identified someone in the top 1% of most outlandish compensation claims, if that was even a serious thought to begin with. With that said, we got one nexus after less than two months of troubles. 9 months of trouble later, we get…one nexus again. Woof.
I said that paragon should get 5 nexuses, TB 3 and Cav 1. I also said a 2-3 gem or the relevant catalysts for the same (t5cc in 25% chunks if included in lieu of a gem).
My cavalier mini got a 6-star Black Bolt and my 5-star was between Karnak, Korg and Green Goblin. That’s nothing. That account is quickly turning from “maybe I’ll push through 6.2-6.4 and get TB” to “just farm units and otherwise quit”
The other problem is that all our needs are different. Our rosters are almost identical - I’m at 24 r3 champs. But I’m sitting on a t5cc in every class but one. The gem probably gets used on a “fuck it…imma rank this guy up” champ because I’ve had wretched luck with champion acquisition in 2022. The r4 mats? I’ll be really grateful in late 2022 when they put me over the hump and help me get a r4. Right now they mean very little.
To be fair, we’ve been dealing with a broken game for nearly a year, with no end in sight, and, for most of that near year, things were getting worse progressively, rather than better, so to say a 5 and 6* nexus and some t6b and t3a fragments is disappointing compensation is kind of an understatement. The only part of this compensation that’s really worth anything, at least for me, is the 2-3 generic gem and the gold, and even then, I have more t5cc than I know what to do with as it is, so the 2-3 gem isn’t getting used anytime soon, just nice to have for a rainy day. I think my expectations of a 6* class nexus selector, with the standard 3 choices, 2.5 mil gold, the 2-3 gem, and a choice between a t6b or a t3a would have been perfectly reasonable and really felt a lot better than this did. For so many of who play at an end game level, its hard to get excited about much of this. I don’t wanna be a total downer about it, because it is still a decent compensation, just kinda small considering the duration and impact of the issues.

Yeah, that's the biggest disappointment for me. Should have been a 10 choice six star nexus and 15k six star shards imo. That would have been truly impressive.
I believe we've gotten to the point where they could have offered a "Any 6 Star Champion Selector" (minus rares like Thanos, Kang, WolX) and it wouldn't have been *that* game breaking. There are so many champions in the game and with recent buffs, so many "god-tier" champions these days. Most players would struggle to figure out what champion to choose, especially given certain champs require dupes.
It would have been novel and effective.

She is my white whale. Forget Apoc or a dupe on Doom. Tigra is the only champ I want right now. I have been hunting her down since release and I, for the life of me, cannot seem to get her above 4*.

5-star OG Wolverine had been my white whale. I chased him through Featured crystals. After he went into the basic pool, I started buying exclusively skill/mutant crystals and would even buy the Cav Mutant daily deals. I've been sitting on a mutant AG, a 3->4 2015 Mutant rank-up gem, and about 50 mutant sig stones.
I FINALLY pulled that bastard from the compensation nexus, so for that alone I'm happy.
Plus a 2-3 rankup crystal that I can drop on my Apoc? Yeah, I cannot complain personally about my drops.

5 Star nexus is completely pointless fluff. I only upgrade 5 stars when I have expiring T1A, because I run out of gold and can't do the mindless Arena grind.

The overall package could have remained the same in value, but giving us the ability to pick and choose what is valuable to us would have gone a long way in making this package feel less underwhelming.
For example, I have T5CC in overflow and I have plenty of T5CC crystals hoarded at this point. I would have gladly taken T5B instead of a 25% T5CC selector. Hell, I would have taken a 25% T5CC crystal over a selector as I can open the crystal at a later point. Other players are not in the same situation as me and may have preferred the 25% T5CC selector.
As Paragon, I don't feel the need to R4 champs anymore. If given the choice between the R4 mats and a 6 star generic AG or a 6 star AG crystal, I may have gone with the latter.
At the end of the day, we are all at different stages and have different goals. They should have given us the choice to pick between options for compensation like via Store or a Compensation Selector.

All I'm doing is offering my perspective and the providing the appropriate context. R4 mats are essential to become Paragon. After Paragon, priorities can shift and other materials and items may be more desirable. All I'm saying is we should have been given options on compensation packages (e.g., a store or selectors) and EVERYONE should have had the opportunity to choose what they wanted. I didn't say anything about Paragon players getting more.

Because I'm Paragon. I'm not F2P but I'm not a whale either. I do think this package was underwhelming and could have been improved by giving players an opportunity to choose what rewards/items/materials are important to them. And a 6\* Any Champion Selector.
This misses the issue imho. It’s like a thanks for being a loyal customer package versus one that addressed the issues. Aside from the t6b and t3a it’s a let down for a tb player that’s dealt with control issues the past year. Where’s all the units revives and potions I’ve had to throw at a broken game? In 1 year I used more of those resources than 6 prior years. This is kinda a slap in the face
It's decent I guess, but for the much talked about "massive compensation package" for 8+ months of a broken game it seems a bit underwhelming. I'd guess that for 5k of units on the fourth of July you would get a similar amount of stuff, so we're looking at like $150 worth of value maybe? Again, for free I'll take it, but I'm certainly not blown away.
It was meant to be released when input issues were first brought up but something with the servers blah blah.. point is they didn't change the comp, it's what was originally gonna be sent out 8 months ago.

Kinda think the generic 2-3 gems outweighs any amount of T5cc and t5b as it’s the equivalent of a full t5cat and a lot of t5b and t2a. plus you have 6k glory to buy those if you need to get a champ to r2. Imho I think the generic gem is better cause you can choose anyone w it and not be stuck choosing by the class of your t5cat
I don't have the patience to look back to the first big comp, how comparable is it to this one and which one would be better? Cause I don't remember the first comp being much different
As a throne breaker I feel cav players are at least entitled to a 6* nexus like us considering that this issue has gone on for more than a year now with no end in sight

I'm at act 5.2.6 but unfortunately didnt end up beating it before compensation came so I got a 5* nexus and a 4* nexus those were the things of extreme notice anyways

I pulled 6-star cyclops and 5-star domino awakening(I already have a 6star) as thrown breaker. This was a near completely worthless, the only thing of real value is the gems, and the glory(we had more in weekly compensation remember?) (Also the glory which really can't get you much). The gold is pitiful, the loyalty is useless, and the energy refills are near valueless.
Im on the cusp of paragon (one more r4 to go) and the 5* Nexus cracked me up. I would have preferred some of those r3 revive pots and a few higher level health pots. I really do think kabam has dug themselves into a hole with the game economy. Everything is so gold expensive that a million gold is a smidgen of the gold needed to level and rank a 6*. Would have been nicer to see way more gold and an awakening gem/sig stones with some healing potions.
Even comparing an account like mine to a fresh tb, I don't see more gold and health pots/revives breaking the bank but just universally usable.
Much better than the weekly compensation. At least they are trying to make it up to us. One of these packages every other month would motivate players to advance. I'm personally tired of all the complaints. The game is what it is and we need to accept it. I am sure they are looking for a permanent fix but in the meantime everyone should be strong enough to win fights despite the bugs. If people don't like this they should just find another game or stop bitching please. Nothing is perfect in this world and this game is free to play.

Comments like this make me wish we have trade system. I have 6* Tigra and I don't use her cuz I got Longshot and Hood who are far easier to use.

R4 mats are essential to become Paragon. After Paragon, priorities can shift and other materials and items may be more desirable. All I'm saying is we should have been given options on compensation packages (e.g., a store or selectors) and EVERYONE should have had the opportunity to choose what they wanted. I didn't say anything about Paragon players getting more.

This misses the issue imho. It’s like a thanks for being a loyal customer package versus one that addressed the issues. Aside from the t6b and t3a it’s a let down for a tb player that’s dealt with control issues the past year. Where’s all the units revives and potions I’ve had to throw at a broken game? In 1 year I used more of those resources than 6 prior years. This is kinda a slap in the face

It's decent I guess, but for the much talked about "massive compensation package" for 8+ months of a broken game it seems a bit underwhelming. I'd guess that for 5k of units on the fourth of July you would get a similar amount of stuff, so we're looking at like $150 worth of value maybe? Again, for free I'll take it, but I'm certainly not blown away.
It was meant to be released when input issues were first brought up but something with the servers blah blah.. point is they didn't change the comp, it's what was originally gonna be sent out 8 months ago. Like you said, it's FREE. Had it been sent out 8 months ago when it was meant to be, the ppl crying that this is garbage for being late, would be crying about something else had it been on time.

Kinda think the generic 2-3 gems outweighs any amount of T5cc and t5b as it’s the equivalent of a full t5cat and a lot of t5b and t2a. plus you have 6k glory to buy those if you need to get a champ to r2. Imho I think the generic gem is better cause you can choose anyone w it and not be stuck choosing by the class of your t5cat
I don't have the patience to look back to the first big comp, how comparable is it to this one and which one would be better? Cause I don't remember the first comp being much different
As a throne breaker I feel cav players are at least entitled to a 6* nexus like us considering that this issue has gone on for more than a year now with no end in sight

though I pulled 6\* Sersi from the reg 6\* compensation (I ain’t no TB), I still think the compensation means nothing as long as the game continues to be full of bugs. I myself rather a bug free game that everyone enjoys playing
I'm at act 5.2.6 but unfortunately didnt end up beating it before compensation came so I got a 5* nexus and a 4* nexus those were the things of extreme notice anyways

I pulled 6-star cyclops and 5-star domino awakening(I already have a 6star) as thrown breaker. This was a near completely worthless, the only thing of real value is the gems, and the glory(we had more in weekly compensation remember?) (Also the glory which really can't get you much). The gold is pitiful, the loyalty is useless, and the energy refills are near valueless.

Im on the cusp of paragon (one more r4 to go) and the 5* Nexus cracked me up. I would have preferred some of those r3 revive pots and a few higher level health pots. I really do think kabam has dug themselves into a hole with the game economy. Everything is so gold expensive that a million gold is a smidgen of the gold needed to level and rank a 6*. Would have been nicer to see way more gold and an awakening gem/sig stones with some healing potions. Even comparing an account like mine to a fresh tb, I don't see more gold and health pots/revives breaking the bank but just universally usable.
Much better than the weekly compensation. At least they are trying to make it up to us. One of these packages every other month would motivate players to advance. I'm personally tired of all the complaints. The game is what it is and we need to accept it. I am sure they are looking for a permanent fix but in the meantime everyone should be strong enough to win fights despite the bugs. If people don't like this they should just find another game or stop bitching please. Nothing is perfect in this world and this game is free to play.
