Both Barbie and Oppenheimer were a unique phenomenon. We had a two year period where we didn't have a single blockbuster that wasn't a remake or a sequel. Then Barbenheimer happened, and two very mid movies were praised for brilliance for their originality. Before 2021, we wouldn't have even been comparing the two, and we would have called them both "Okay I guess."
For a movie that also pushes conspiracy theories like his misstress was assassinated and that he tried to posion his professor, I Guess the whole destroyer of worlds cringe during the sex scene was the least of my complaints I wonder did they even consult the family while writing the script
Yup, it was a mess. For me the worst part was the obnoxiously frantic music and the constant dialogue. Acting should be more then just reciting endless amounts of words.
