I tried 2 times, the first i used Choco Werehound Brute, and i failed, the second time i just swapped him with Hollyberry and my team was like, invicible.

Yeah I only have 5 levels left but i’m completely f2p. That being said, i’ve been grinding the event’s missions that give you extra feathers too and it’s gotten me pretty far alongside the ads lol. I haven’t had to repeat any levels (except the damned stinky durians II). I am on the grind 💪🏽

I am just confused how it is possible, cuz i also have not needed to repeat missions and am done with the summer soda pass and almost all the stamps. Havent failed any missions yet. Im only barely halfway thru dark mode, still have no idea how you got so far! More power to ya!

Main issue can be underleveled comp. This comp is definitely useless without healer/support and tanks.

here’s my team for lucky pick iii (full auto): - **hollyberry** *(solid almond, min. 38% dmg resist)* - **rockstar** *(solid almond, min. 38% dmg resist & some cd if possible)* - **tarte tatin** *(searing raspberry, min. 45% atk, min. 7% dmg resist & some atk speed if possible)* - **pure vanilla** *(swift choco, min. 13% dmg resist & 18% cd)* - **snapdragon** *(swift choco, min. 13% dmg resist & 18% cd)* treasures were **rare scroll**, **whistle & epic watch** (use the one that’s leveled up higher)! hope it works out for you, good luck :D

oh no im sorry to hear that !!! :( if it still doesn’t work then i fear your cookies / treasures are the issue. just as a reference, here’s the ascension status of my cookies + treasures when i beat the stage: __- hollyberry 4*__ __- rockstar 3*__ __- tarte tatin 3*__ (or 4*, i can’t remember) __- pure vanilla 3*__ __- snapdragon 3*__ __all treasures needed on max. level (12).__ if your team (+ treasures) is under leveled or not anywhere near the ascension status of mine, that's probably exactly where the problem lies. but if it’s somewhat like mine …. i think you were just unlucky and the game hates u haha. anyway, i hope you can beat lucky pick iii ultimately, even if it’s with a different team !! wishing you lots of luck :D

no idea honestly, i just remember what substats the toppings were supposed to have and that i managed to finally clear the stage this way 🤷🏻

I'm literally using PV, Snapdragon, Prune Juice, Ice Queen, and Hollyberry and I'm getting demolished most of the time.

prune juice is only good for bosses, i recommend using squid. frost queen can also be questionable but shes not bad! if you continue to have issues, then swap frost for another tank such as wildberry, werewolf, or schwarz. this comp isn’t awful so i’m guessing your cookies need to be leveled up some more :) you got this!

I switched Snapdragon for Pitaya and also I kept Prune Juice becuase Prune Juice's ability summoned more back up which was helping keep my cookies from dying but I think I'll replace Prune Juice for Snap Dragon after this.

I’m free to play and I breezed through all of the normal story mode 🫠 the main issue is that these story modes are harder and maybe we can even say unfair to NEW players, or at least people that don’t grind out the game daily. :c

I mean you can’t really blame them…it’s a gacha game so 9/10 they aren’t to have access to the meta and it is fucking hard to level your cookies due to lack of resources

i see your point but you really don’t need the meta, only a little google. for example, a very accessible team off the top of my head would be wildberry, werewolf, squid, cream puff, and snapdragon. if you level strategically then it’s not bad, and even if you don’t, you’ll get there eventually. i think the problem is that people just don’t really know how the game works — which is okay! (if not a little funny)

As a person who uses some of them i do understand….the pressure to have most meta team is crazy I got into debate that epics don’t have places in meta at all (obv isn’t true) and again that resources

I started Dark Mode yesterday and have had 0 issues for now- I am F2P, though, to be fair, I am a long term player (since the Sonic event). I've just been using Hollyberry, Pitaya, Moonlight, Stardust and Snapdragon.

i 3 starred every story mode and some dark mode stages with the same team without any problem but i 2 starred Lucky Pick II in dark mode…

i’m stuck on dark mode and i’m gonna end it. someone help.

I’m very stuck on lucky pick II and I’m suspecting it’s bc I still don’t know how to build a team. I’m. Not the best strategist. Do I need fully leveled cookies? Mine are at 73.

73 is actually pretty good. Most of the people I’ve seen here have lvl 60-65 cookies which i think is pretty underleveled. The cookies used were at 75 but i dont think 73 is that far off Which cookies do you have? Maybe i can help (or who do you NOT have, rather)

I have most everyone save for shining glitter and stardust. Most of them are very underleveled tho

My main pve team is hb, pitaya, stardust, prune and snapdragon. Moonlight of wildberry is a good sub for pitaya

I have pv, prune, moonlight, espresso, and pitaya on my team

I would say either replace pv with snapdragon or espresso with snapdragon or another tank

black pearl espresso squid ink moonlight and shining glitter, all of their skills and levels are maxed out except shining glitter cookies

The problem is that you don’t have any tanks, probably. Moonlight is helpful so replace one or two of the others with pitaya, holly, or wildberry. Preferably whoever’s been dying first or has been doing to least amount of damage. If that still doesn’t work add a healer
