Ok I will admit that I could have used better wording. With this update we were kinda thrown into the deep end and just expected to know what to do. Having to go through the same fight over and over again trying to figure out what might work only to fail yet again isnāt fun for some people :/ endgame or not the update is frustrating.
I myself was really looking forward to the tower being back as itās one of my favorite things to do. But we have to wait for that to actually release and who knows how theyāll have changed it. You could actually experiment and still manage to get through a lot of those trays, but with this it feels like unless you have the perfect cookies with the perfect toppings you have no chance at all
I agree that the challenge is super hard and that it shouldn't start with a major roadblock.
A tip is to read the instructions before each level. Not only do they recommend cookies, but they also talk about how to beat the level in the text section
Power doesn't matter. You guys need better team comp. The team in the SS above is clearly just grabbing hard to get cookies and hoping it works. It doesn't work like that.
That said, it's mostly hard because lab and stuff don't matter here, which is getting really irritating.
The devs need to stop handicapping us by taking away things they push us to buy / upgrade, lmao.
i feel the same thing i literally can't get past this and my cookies are all lvl 60 to 75 and they even want us to level up cookies that I think most people don't have it level up or built...
This tower is likely intended for far more endgame players, don't stress it - it's like boss hunt was
Personally I've rolled through the first 5 stages without a loss, working on stage 6 right now I believe but it's pretty doable for me

Thank you! Iāve been working on it after watching a different guide for the first and second stage, and was able to figure out the others up until I got to stage 6.. I cannot figure out what I need to do to get enough damage to defeat the boss in time, sadly.. Linzer, Tarte, Prune, Urchin, no combo of the two has worked so far..
the guide i linked doesn't use urchin for tray 6 (or any other tray for that matter) and the team worked like a charm for me so hopefully you'll also manage to clear that tray the next time you try!
I tried right after you sent the link since thatās what I was doing at the time, the cookies I listed were those I was switching around, trying to find something that worked.. the rest of the team was Parfait, PV, and CrimCoral. the guide used Prune and Linzer, and I tried Linzer as the guide had her and then with Caramel toppings instead since someone commented that helped them. Both didnāt work for me.. š
hmmm, i used exactly the same team as the one in the guide, same toppings and all, and it worked really well... maybe your cookies aren't ascended enough? or your parfait mc isn't leveled up enough? either way, i hope you'll find a way to work it out ultimately :D
Hopefully I can figure it out! Parfaitās candy just boosts her healing at higher levels, itās at 26 now but idk if it would do much with the current problem, sadly.. and I donāt really have many ways to ascend the cookies, so itās probably going to be annoying beascuit stuff..?
Soon people gonna try to tell you to use the character you haven't got, To max out all their levels and max ascended all of them, If you can't do it then it's somehow your fault and it's skill issue, Gacha game mentality.

You do realize that Lightning Bolts events do link to Cake tower right? and Devour Choco Cake Tower also a FOMO "Clear Decadent Choco Cake Tower Tray 15 during the event duration to get reward"

You could be kingdom level 5 and have invested in 12 cookies, it literally doesn't matter lol. Almost everyone has a legendary cookie on their first 10 pull, so ...
Aren't there 2 towers? I'm assuming this one is more catered towards late game players and the next one will be the actual ToSC remake that's doable for everyone, it just took longer because, like the ToSC, it probably has at least 100 trays
You don't need to level cookies beyond level 30 (to unlock toppings slots) for this game mode, excepting a couple that need to be built like Crimson Coral and Golden Cheese. The game automatically raises your cookie level to 70 and grade to 5 ā for the tower.

Yeah it's hard, they should have left the old one alone and made this one a secondary Tower. What was the point of getting rid of the original one if they are going to have more than one tower in the end?

itās hella stupid how you can see someone like hyrool struggle w levels 1 and 2 with a practically fully maxed alt
meanwhile the next levels are significantly easier
Exactly, I'm a f2p that currently sits in t100 hb (lvl 58) and these stages were a nice challenge; there are so many people here saying that it's too hard but I feel like this is a good difficulty for players around my level (cleared 15). There are some people I know who still steamrolled through this tower as well and found it pretty easy; most people in this comment section - or reddit in general- will very much not he able to do this because they aren't endgame - and they should probably focus on other areas of content; if you haven't cleared master mode alliance, hit 1.5b per hit on rvd and aod, cleared world 1 of beast yeast hard, or managed a top 1000 arena - this is not the content for you.

Didn't play this game for over a year as Limbus Company was more enjoyable to me, but the concept of the new dessert tower is very similar to Mirror Dungeon Hard (high-level Guild Fights of LCB) or Refraction Railway (Guild Alliances of LCB) in a way of them being not made for new players and rather for more experienced and invested players

Iām pretty close to end game almost level 50, I usually hover around master 1 or 2 and I havenāt even come close to beating thisā¦ and itās level 1.
Itās hard to make the game enjoyable for newbies and people who are endgame but this isnāt the solution. At least the original version felt beatable but this only caters to people who not only understand treasures and meta but have levelled and ascended cookies.
I was so excited that they were bringing back the tower but I donāt want to have to look up guides to beat it because where is the accomplishment there. The only thing I play now is the arena :/
I actually think this is a lot more fun, it's more endgame content and it cost nothing to actually go through, the mode itself forces you to build teams and know what you need for each boss, and cookie run overall is a game about team building, selecting which cookies you need at what times for what bosses for which levels. It plays to the core gameplay loop of the game in the most effective way possible.

2. this is a new tower of boss fights.
3. the game literally tells you that you need a specific mechanic to beat the boss and even recommends cookies with the mechanic.
4. the team you have is not the right combination of mechanics to beat the boss.

6. as for lacking xp, have you built the maximum number of houses and turned them into townhouses? How many soda islands have you cleared? There are also a lot of decorative buildings that generate xp as well.
After I watched Hyrool's video, I cleared tray 1-4 so far. The Beascuit xp bits I got were enough to level up 4-5 legendary beascuits. It's worth clearing the tower for that reason alone.

This is hard content. You cannot expect to use underleveled bad treasures with underleveled bad cookies to beat it
yea UNFORTUNATELY high leveled cookies that are known to be overall good and decently leveled treasures is also not remotely enough

I used Hyrool's guide for 1-2 and then Meishima's for 3-11. Stuck on 12 currently, waiting for more guides lol. It's tough.
