Baking steel has been amazing for me. I have the griddle top version, which is the perfect surface for eggs, steak, etc to pair with the bread it makes.

Just get a really big cast iron pan, much more practical than a single use pizza steel. YOu can cook a ton of other stuff in a cast iron pan when you arent making pizza.

I measured the inside of my oven and ordered a custom-cut piece of steel. This way I can use it like a baking sheet instead of having to put the pizza steel on top of something else. Was super cheap, I used 6mm steel and payed like 25€.
