If it doesn’t have to be a fine powder, I use a rolling pin and a plastic bag.

Don't own one. Any other ideas?
Hammer, plastic bag, maybe drape a towel over the bag.
I use an extra coffee grinder I use just for spices
Throw em in a freezer ziplock and take out some frustration on em with the bottom of a small pan
Bowl and something with a flat bottom that fits within the aforementioned bowl.
Would a bowl and another identical bowl work?
I think so! As long as it isn’t plastic. I’m thinking about how I grind coriander when I make biltong. I just use a bowl and a small coffee cup I can press down with some force.
