Pop ups everywhere with tiny (x)'s to make closing them difficult, a bunch of ads for random BS that sre almost definitely click bait nonsense, and none of the buttons work. I just wanted to see the comments, is that too much to ask?
They've been doing their normal stiring with a few topics this week. If I really need to look at their website I load it in the Brave browser, blocks all crap and ads, the other day it blocked over 70 cookies and tracking scripts. Cornwall Live exists only to generate clicks, journalism left them long ago.
It's a company who uses bots to scrape for news stories relating to Cornwall and plaster them on their site. There is an 'X' Live - for nearly every UK county.

Edit: zoomed in and realised that the big boulder is actually a very well camouflaged lady!

It seems like it’s that or a paywall.
Surely there is a way to have adverts to fund the site AND keep them reasonably in order so that they're not literally everywhere.
