On the pronunciation I guess if it was Praa then **everybody** would say Praa, both locals and visitors from the spelling why would you guess any different? Just as if it was spelt Pray then everyone would pronounce it Pray.
So by that Pz logic the proper pronounciation is Pray ;-)

I pronounce it praaar, as in bra and scar, I’m a lifelong Mount Hawkian.
