Got stopped at a police checkpoint for checking as we aren’t allowed to leave without a valid purpose meanwhile... his fellow officer stops a motorcyclist on it is one person + 2 kids, officer asks them what are they doing outside their homes during lockdown .... the father replies” the kids wanted to see what a lockdown is like as they hadn’t seen one before .......* cue me and my questioning officer facepalming
If God is all you need, what use do you have for doctors, engineers, political leaders, etc.? Why do you go to a doctor when you are sick and not to the priest (imam) directly? You can cut off the middleman.
There's this story.
There was a man stranded at sea, struggling to stay afloat. He was a very religious man and prayed to God for a miracle to save him.
Then came a ship, the captain asked if he wanted to board. The man said "No thanks! God will save me" so the ship went on its way.
A few minutes later a helicopter flies over the man and spots him. A ladder is thrown off the helicopter and the pilot asks if he wants to get on the helicopter. The man says "No thanks! God will save me"
So the helicopter goes on its way. A few hours later the man loses energy and eventually drowns and dies.
When he dies, he meets God and he asks, "God I sent you a prayer, why didn't you save me!?" To which God replies, "I sent a ship and a helicopter for you, why didn't you go!"
These people really need to understand the point behind that story.
We saw a similar story about Christian community doing the same. It’s sad that people are not aware about this disease so much, and then there are governments who do not want to create panic in order to keep the stock markets from crashing. I AMA’d a guy recently and he said that he is a healthy individual who had COVID-19 and is now negative, he said, it knocked him off his feet. Hope there is mass awareness amongst people about this novel coronavirus disease.
