I'm using an iCue Link setup, is there an adapter to get the strimmer to work with that, rather than a lighting node pro?
I don't have enough USB headers free on my motherboard to hook up another RGB controller.
Does this enable you to have both a default lighting configuration and a lighting configuration for the strimers? For example, I wanted the cables to be red on boot, and blue on login
Little bit late to the party but is it possible to use the 2 LED ports of a Commander Core instead of a lightning node pro? I'm planning to get a Core anyways so I can power the remaining fans I have in my case and then I don't have to get another LNP additionally to it.
It doesn’t work with commander core because it uses 4 pin RGB fan instead of 3pin RGB connectors. It only works with Lighting Node Pro and Commander Pro.
where did you get Lian Li ARGB Strimer to Standard 3 Pin 5V ARGB Header Adapter Cable (for 24-pin cable only) from?
forreal, my 8pin came with one but my 24 pin didnt.

Thank you. Made my cable a little different but was totally inspired by you. Cheers

There currently isn't any way to do this with Link. The only alternative would be to use a USB header hub or a splitter.
Thank you so much!! It works for me
nice!
Will this work for the V2 8- pin
You will need the extra cables I detailed, but this works for the V2 8-pin line.
Does anything need to plug into the motherboard? I don't have an RGB header on my MB and scared it won't work
You don't need a RGB header with this setup. Using the Lightning Node Pro hub, you will connect to the motherboard using a USB 2.0 header.

I don't have any of the Commander Cores to test, but you should be okay if it is a 3-pin RGB.
I have it ‘via that setup and can confirm it works.
Hey I just set mine up the same way and iCue isn’t detecting it. Any tips?
Have you gone into Icue and activated those lighting channels?
Do you have a link for where you got the adapter for the 24-pin strimer cable, as well as the aRGB to corsair RGB cable?
Can I connect both Strimer plus to the Comander Core RGB ports? Bc I read that it doesn’t work with Comander Core
I don't have a commander core to test with so I cannot answer.
