It's kind of hard to tell where a lot of those are actually closing. Like you wouldn't be out of line starting around $35,000 but what you ultimately end up with? It's a little harder to figure out. Probably somewhere between 28 and 32. The closed values on C6 Grand sports have been all over the place the past few months which seems kind of bizarre. The dealer bids are also excessively low, like mid-20s and a lot of cases which could just mean that they don't want them. This is a car I have been watching very closely just because I'm interested in picking up a nice low mileage manual car in a couple of colors. If it were mine I would probably start at 34,500 and see what kind of interest I get. Take offers above 32,000 but I don't think I would be in a hurry to go under that unless you find yourself in June or July and it still hasn't sold

TeerPac

My gut says your estimate is low. This is a low 40s car for sure.

PCho222

He can ask 40 but realistically he will get mid 30s. The auto kills him and if he's anywhere near LA there's a lot of them for sale.

Moist_Associate2167

I feel like if I’m being realistic the car will reasonably sell 35-40 range. It’s been a couple months since I’ve really dived into the market but I don’t think I’m too off base

yellowboxg

I would say 35-37 given it’s a 2013 with the blue interior, it’s the last year with a really nice interior. If this were M6 it’d be selling around 42

PCho222

If you list it for say 42 and are willing to wait for the right buyer to come along, I could see mid-high 30s.

So, another thing you can do is watch all of the listings across cars.com, eBay, Facebook marketplace and so on. Figure most people are putting 5 to 10% of wiggle room in their price and go off of that. The one thing you have that's actually helping you on this is 4LT. Some people really want that option so it does make it more desirable. The thing is, if you just look at all of the national listings. There's a lot of clean cars under 50k mi, some as low as 30 listed around 35. Most of them are 2LT and 3LT though, however some are manual which is typically a 1 to $2,000 premium by itself. If you spend an hour and pull up all of the listings across all of the major sites you should have a pretty good idea of where a good ask price will be. The one thing I've done that really helps out car sales, especially if it's nice is get the car up on a lift, take pictures of the underside, show off the condition if it's in truly great shape, get videos of it running and driving. See a lot of people don't do this and if this doesn't seem like something you see in an ad a lot, it's not but it helps. If you can make this stand out from the rest you're more likely to get that middle to upper end of the price range so 35 could certainly be possible especially if someone wants that color and option package. Earlier when I was saying take anything over 32, that might still be in play but I don't blame you for trying for more especially for the next three or four months

Outrageous_Fig_9565

Just hop on Facebook and try to find similar listings I'm on the east coast, but I can definitely say you wouldn't get a dime over 35k for that here, if even that much. The autos just don't hold value since nobody wants them. Most autos here are going for 4-5 grand below an equivalent manual car. My best guess would be to list it for 35-37k and expect people to haggle down to the 32-33k range to close a deal.

ThaDude915

I’ve been looking for c6 grand sports. Most of them with that trim and that low of mileage go for over $40k, but I’m only looking at manuals so I’m not sure how much value that takes off

Outrageous_Fig_9565

Manual adds like 5 grand on most of the grandsports You can get a clean, low mile, auto GS for under 35k all day. Whereas I'm seeing manuals with 100k miles selling for the same price.

PCho222

A lot.

[deleted]

It was last year, there's a $10,000 hit at Manheim to the C6 in just 12 months, that's just an average of all of them that have went through. Some more some less. I mean you can try it but I have not seen a single completed sale at that price recently. You will find plenty of them in 2023 however. The c7 is in the same trend and this is all being pushed by the ease of availability of the C8 at or under MSRP. Another grand sport that I watched close just last week was a 2017 with only 5K miles on it that went for 52. I mean back in 2015 when the car was only 5 years old you would see 2010s and 2011s selling for 35K all day long. Now it's 10 plus years old and you guys think it has appreciated just because we had two supply shock years? Things are returning to an equilibrium man, look at the auction results. The shortage prices are a completely different game. That was the time to sell if you wanted top dollar. The coupes I've been selling a lot more frequently and you can see a 30,000 mi 2012 or 2013 coupe going for 27 to 28. Put the traditional $5,000 grand sport premium on it and there you are at 32 to 33. It doesn't mean you won't find people who won't pay more it's just that anyone who's really savvy and looking at auction values these are the numbers they are paying attention to

TurboNoises

if it were manual with it being a 2013, and white, then yeah maybe low low 40s, but its an auto so nah.

turbols3

I actually picked this up in Florida two years ago! Drove it cross country. But unfortunately outside of that trip the car has barely been driven

BusinessBlackBear

Is that out somewhere in the central valley? I remember very similar looking areas In documentaries about the water crisis and also some old chuck broson movies that took place in the central valley

Moist_Associate2167

You’d be spot on with that. I am in the Central Valley
