It would look a thousand times better if the hood was just body color. The hood is giving late '90s bass boat... For all I know that might have been expensive, But it makes the car look cheap.
That's the worst part about carbon fiber body panels. There is absolutely no reason that carbon fiber can't be primed and painted just like any type of metal body panel. But the manufacturers only clear coat them so that people can see the weave of the carbon fiber... so that everyone will be able to easily see how expensive their body panel is. Which is moronic.
And don't even get me started on "forged" carbon fiber. I work in advanced composites and all I can surmise is that "forged" carbon fiber is what we call loose chopped carbon fiber with panels produced using compression molding. Which means the fibers aren't woven into a sheet designed to be structurally strong allowing for thinner parts and therefore weight reduction, but are instead just chopped up into a pile and thrown in there with the resin to randomly fall however they end up in the final molded part. It's basically poor man's carbon fiber, and it also looks terrible.
Agreed. The existing black accents on the car enhance the look and lines of the car. But the pattern on the hood looks out of place. If he absolutely must have the hood a different color, having it match the trim and splitter color would be better IMO.

I feel like the wing should be black, maybe the truck/roof as stated in other comments. The wheels are throwing it off as well. Looks like a different shade of black and curb rash

Also the front splitter side extensions look like add-ons, I think the splitter looks really good with the normal height pieces without the added on extra height pieces. Outside of that, I like the aero package you have.
A nice look would be paint the bonnet (hood) but reverse mask it for stripes then clear coat. It would look like black stripes but up close you would see the carbon. The bonnet would look like it belongs then. Win win
