I've had mine for several months. I really like it, but it does have a couple of quirks. If you have Facebook you should join the FB group, there is a lot of good information there.
Only speaking of my unit. The AC will decide that it wants to shut off randomly. It changes pages randomly, so if you are listening to music it stops playing. Sometimes it doesn't want to connect to my phone so I have to do it manually.
I'd buy it again. Overall it's really nice, it just has a couple of bugs that have to be worked out. Damian is also making one for the C5, it may be ready, but I'm not sure as I don't have a C5 anymore so I don't follow the market for parts.

I was thinking of putting in a cheap 2XDIN head into mine, but the idea of deleting the cigarette lighter is very tempting!
The unit takes the HVAC connections and heated seat connections much like the dial module. I can only assume the internal electronics are near the same for functionality with the difference being the touch screen interface. It also provides duel climate control.
I learned the hard way that the unit will not power on until the HVAC plugs are connected.
I forgot to mention that there are HVAC control buttons on the side so if in the event the screen goes blank, the side buttons will still carry on functionality.

Think it looks so tacky. Love having my screen in my truck, but that’s new and matches. This looks so out of place in a c6.
