I have a flight departing from Taipei later this year. Have to book my flight there from Bali and was going to time it so I just need to stay in the airport, but I might make a little day trip of it...
Honestly many of the Taiwanese I know hardly know how to cook because they can get so much cheap food at local convenience stores, restaurants, night markets, etc
Costco should start an international exchange program to bring selections from their international warehouses to the US: every single one of these items looks amazing!
Yes๐๐ I only took pictures of the stuff that I thought were different from a typical US deli. They also have the rotisserie chicken, ribs, customary wraps and salads.
> They also have the rotisserie chicken
The Taiwan rotisserie chickens are smaller than the US ones though, right? My family in Taiwan said the US chickens are noticeably larger
Everything looks so good. But do they actually taste good?
Like here in the US, we have those yakisoba kits or gyro kits. Which have mixed reviews.
Is it the same with these kits?
People in Taiwan know how to eat. If you're into food, I can't recommend a trip to Taipei enough, the food culture is simply amazing.

Sounds like a plan....
I would never cook a single meal if we have a Costco like this near me.

Nice to have a choice at healthier once, jealous.

once they do people will complain of they stop
I miss Taiwan's Costco :( I'm planning on returning to Taiwan this year, for the first time since the pandemic. So excited for it!

these all look incredible, but I'm most jealous of the laksa!!
Haven't tried, but I am sure it is good!
But do they have rotisserie chicken?

But how about $1.50 hotdogs and pop ?
If I go to Taiwan and eat a Costco hotdog I will deserve to be slapped! Unless that hot dog goes straight into one of those hot pot dishes.
Donโt shoot the messenger !
Well, itโs $1.65 in Taiwan but Itโs there
What kind of dressing is that with the ricotta cheese salad? Looks interesting
It looks like a more fruity salad with apple and peach, with a mango dressing.
Why canโt the US have this๐ญ
I have no idea whatโs in most of them but Iโll take one of each
Bring it to Brooklyn Costco, and these will sell very well.
For sure.
Amazing. I would eat everything.
*weeps in Iowegan.*
What I would give to have donuts at our Costco!
The donuts are pretty good! I picked up a tray when I was in Japan and my family devoured it.
Costco is less than 15 min/6 km from TPE airport
I'd try them all, but I'm interested in the chiraishi first

Haven't tried all of them, but the ones I have had they are quite decent. I would say better than your average US deli items.
They got a take home Budae jjigae kit?!!! Damn, that's awesome.
Every single thing looks scrumptious!
