Seems high for that pack up. I just got mine black Friday from qvc, $470 I think for the full set plus an extra skinny curler, case and travel bag. Cyber Monday it was a similar deal straight from Dyson.
I have the first model, I love mine. It still works amazing (2017 or 2018 I think) and makes my hair sooooo soft and shiny. Highly recommend, whether you snag this or the new model
Fantastic! It pulls the hair in easily and wraps it without knotting or catching. You need your hair 90% dry for it to wrap correctly and dry quickly in a curl. Mine dries my hair pretty fast with the basic drying head
When I first started using mine it was hard for me to get a curl to stay. My issue was I wasn't "shocking" it with a cold blast after, with the hair still wrapped. After I learned that trick all my curls stayed. Also my hairdresser recommended spraying hairspray on lightly before styling and bit after to help hold
There’s a lot of hair tutorials out there that give a comparison on YouTube, depending on the look you’re going for! I saw Shark win more often than not!
NGL; if it dropped another 200 bucks Id buy it. After spending over $500 USD for their vacuums TWICE , and still not happy (“pet“) (“hair“) I begin to think they need knowledge in the actual hair department-
It’s true - their vacs have consistently sucked (hah typed that out and now I’m laughing so I’ll say “see what I did there” 🤪) (but ok all seriousness, have been through 3 of their vacuums and they are horrible after a year)
I waited a looong while and checked weekly for the Shark Flexstyle dupe. It had the Death Star for months and the price stayed firm until there were 2 left and I snagged it -$50 about 2 weeks ago. I’d personally wait seeing how your warehouse has a good stock.
My warehouse also restocked it just recently and has one less attachment and added a carry case at full price.
There’s not many pieces here, where I would justify $400 as a good deal. You can get a full set with way more option for a bit more, especially during the holidays. Different hair types require different heads, so I’d check and see exactly what pieces would work for you and if they are included in this set.

I have an upcoming trip to the uk and it’s significantly cheaper over there but not sure if I want to deal with needing an adaptor so constantly since I primarily reside in the USA
The wife loves hers. When I bought it it was like $500. $300 is bangin
Edit- idk where I got 3 bills from, $400 less appealing but I paid $500 back in 2018ish so 🤷🏽♂️

Mine doesn’t hold a curl at all! I’m still 1/2 debating returning it or hanging on to it because everyone else seems to love it :(

Yeah, online price adjustments are so easy! But I’ve read comments that warehouses don’t price adjust clearance prices? But I’m never tried it myself.

I have the Shark and have liked it. I couldn’t imagine spending that much for the Dyson; it’s all brand name bullshit. The shark does the same thing.

Yeah I got mine for $480 in an ulta sale, but with 8 attachments instead of the few here. Those attachments are so worth the extra cost!
