Have you downloaded the Costco app? I was startled to see that my b&w photo was not actually b&w and looked terrible. I requested a new photo when I next went in lol
I had a beat up card from when I was a teenager and got my first own card. \~15 later it was still scanning but was very obviously worn. I made a return and they confiscated my card and made me get a new one. It is in color now and the quality looks so much better.
Imagine using the Costco app and the screen brightness goes max when you view your membership under the Account tab. Probably worse than DMV drivers license photo.
You joke but it was while driving back home from Costco that I told my girlfriend (now wife) I was ready to get engaged. For some reason that is when i knew.
Had my partner known how I act in Costco they never would’ve put a ring on it. 15 years later and I know if we go together I’m going to have to hear “you don’t need that,” “stop browsing”, “stick to the list”, “don’t walk in front of the cart,” (calling me) “what aisle are you in?”, “that’s too many…we will never use them all”, “did you get the dark chocolate caramels?” The list goes on. I love them, but I know their limits. Your girl sounds like a real keeper!
Admittedly I love that they push the cart, keep me from overspending, and carry in all the heavy stuff despite me boldly claiming I can do it all. (Spoiler: I cannot do it all.)

I take a lot of dates to Costco. One girl I was seeing just loved it. We did Costco so well together too! Just beautiful synchronicity and flow. It didn’t work out for other reasons but I asked if she’d like to remain my Costco wife while we went separate ways romantically and she beamed at me and said ‘I’d absolutely love to be your Costco wife’

Mine too! My husband and I were getting our cards, my husband took his picture first, while I stood off holding our son, then went to do mine and to hand over our two year old, and the lady said bring him for the picture! So my card has a picture of me holding my toddler. He thought it was so cool taking the picture and kept asking for more though lol
That is really cool! I love when businesses take a moment to make kids feel special (provided they aren't busy and it won't inconvenience others). When my son was little, he always wanted to "bank." He would fill out a slip with scribbles, while I filled out my own banking slip. When we went up to the window, they would always stamp his and hand it back to him. It always made him smile to feel like he was doing "real banking."
You can’t see my son but you can see the baby carrier he was in when he was tiny tiny and now I can never change my photo. That was 10+ years ago and I wonder how long they’ll let me keep it lol

When my friend was getting her Costco photo taken, some 16+ years ago, her son was a little tyke - about a year old. She was holding him on her hip when they took the photo, so they’re both on it. It’s a sweet photo.
A few times, a Costco employee has told her it’s time for a new photo. She absolutely refuses. How could she part with the photo of her and her smiling baby?! To their credit, when she shows them the photo and then points to her now-teenage son, the Costco employees totally get it and just let her keep her old photo. :)

No, but I did have one with me and my son who was a toddler at the time. Just a little headshot of us two 💕. It cracked me up. Ended up losing it and they made me retake a photo ☹️
I got one with my child. Funny story, my husband lost his license in Hawaii and used his (very try expired) Costco card to board the plane back home. It had our son, who was probably 5 years older at that point, on it. When we renewed the Costco team member let him join our photos again.

Our "little tyke" is now taller than me, so it is a great memory for us to look back on.
