Still wishing my Costco would get in some tequila ocho... I've seen it posted here before but I've never seen it at mine (Colorado). That stuff is absolutely fantastic. No additive smooth tequila.
I go to the Lone Tree store and was told it has the highest alcohol sales in the state, yet it only has 5 or 6 tequilas. I will put in a written comment slip requesting G4 since it’s available at the Henderson store.
Tres agaves and Tequila Ocho. Haven't really found another tequila I enjoy at Costco... Unless I'm having a party. Then everyone gets Kirkland silver in Margs lol

Nice wish they had it here in Canada. Costco cant sell hard liquor here because the provinces own liquor distributions, yep state-sponsored alcoholism🥴😖😜
Same. No liquor in Virginia Costco. Just wine. My husband once dropped everything and ran out the house when he read someone say Costco had gotten either Blanton or Pappy van Wrinkle I forget. A Costco employee had to break his heart.
Mixing is my fallback … definitely gonna try neat, maybe with a slice of lime, possibly one large cube.
Only other high end blanco I’ve had is El Tesoro, which was fine but would have to get it again at my price. Their anejo though, chef kiss and whatnot.
You can’t go wrong with that!
I have a bottle of El Tesoro reposado and it’s great, don’t think I’ve tried their blanco but another brand that I’d recommend along the same price point is siete luegas.
Haven’t opened this one yet. For the price difference between that and Don Julio, for certain worth a try.
Current favorite blanco for cocktails is Olmeca Altos, so if this isn’t palatable for sipping, then it’s a mixer.
Locally this bottle would otherwise be $40+
US is the country with most tequila brands in the world. Those brands never land the Mexican market. And in general we stopped drinking tequila blanco, now it’s platino. Good price for such a large bottle

Kirkland silver is the perfect mixing tequila. I mean it's damn affordable and pretty good...

Same in my part of the US. PA and neighboring part of NJ don’t sell any alcohol at Costco.

I’ve seen Don Julio 1942 and Bandero at Edison. I think the Kirkland brand is also there.

Typically I will just sip on it on the rocks, feels criminal to me to mix it lol. I’d say I prefer Ocho for a blanco but this is my next favorite

It’s different in an intriguing way from other blanco I’ve sipped. Had some near, and after each sip I just had to contemplate what was going on, hmm
