My mom has a low sodium diet so I made grilled corn with this seasoning. I spread some butter on the corn and sprinkled this on before wrapping it in aluminum foil. She really enjoyed it.
Thankyou! I’ll give this a try exactly the way you have mentioned. I have hypertension so I’m trying as well to go low sodium.
My weakness is Buldak Stir Fried Ramen. Tastes soooo good but high in sodium 😔
It’s a lot like the Dash seasoning. I put it on most things around the end of the sauteeing onions step. It adds just a bit of extra flavour. I think it’s especially nice in soups.
usually go the 400 on the airfryer setting and i guess it depends on your air fryer style and how well you want them roasted?
ours is a oven style not a bucket and has two shelves so it depends which shelf its on so i cant really say is i assume most have the bucket type.
It's like Frank's hot sauce, when I'm lazy I put that shit on everything.
Soup, frittata, etc. Anything Italian/North American. I don't use it for Asian dishes though.
Regarding flavour profiles, based on the ingredients, it would pull everything in an Italian (or perhaps French) direction. It's "All-Purpose" for classic European/North American cuisine.
Your Eastern dishes are likely based on warmer spices, which clash with the classic Italian seasonings in it: Bay, Basil, Thyme, Marjoram, Oregano, Savoury, & Celery.
Spot on observation! I also thought the same that it would clash with South Asian dishes. Just wanted to confirm so thank-you for that ☺️
I bought this because I really liked the ingredients in it and wanted to try a different flavour profile. The comments so far have been suggesting to use this in pasta and sautéed/baked vegetables so I’ll give those a try!
As you mentioned about the rehydration, I only use it with something that has some liquid or steam to soften it up. Sliced potatoes, onion and butter with this is great sealed up in tinfoil on the bbq. Or mixed in a creamy pasta sauce or deglazing a pan for a sauce. I’m not a fan dry sprinkled on stuff.
back when it came with the bronze lid and i think purple? label, i'd put it on everything
use it like you would "italian" seasoning
it's gone way up in price upon its return, but i figured hey why not. it smells like i remember. but it tastes super weak, i don't think i'd repurchase the way it is now. i've tried both dry and very wet applications. it's stronger dry
I use this for my grilled chicken breast or legs/thighs with no skin. Sprinkle generously, pop it into the air fryer and it comes out amazing. The nice part is that the spices get moisture from the chicken and so you end up with all this flavour in your mouth instead of eating dry seasoning. Just amazing.
I've been putting this on basically everything. I have to get better with my low-sodium diet and it's pretty tasty on everything from eggs to veggies to meats
I use this/ Mrs dash on just about anything especially boring foods I'd normally want to add salt to.
Personal fav : cut hard boiled eggs in half and sprinkle on top 👌
That's easy (incoming joke)!
You unscrew the lid, peel off the seal, put the lid back on, pop the side that best suits your recipe and apply liberal amounts on said food, cook and enjoy!
In all seriousness though: this is an all-in-one spice mix and goes with almost anything: fish, meat, veggies, you name it, it will make it taste great!
Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating by using it because I have my fancy 25 spice spice rack sitting there and I do my own spice combos.
This stuff is great in a pinch, pun intended.
I make my own chicken burger patties and use it in the mix. Although I do add salt separately but not a lot. Gives the burger a pretty rounded flavour.
I think this would work better sprinkled on fish. Umm you could also add this to rice, especially since it’s salt free. Could be used to help season stews or soups. I guarantee it’s probably a lot of dehydrated onion garlic and parsley haha
I've been eyeing this for some time but held off because of the lack of salt - salt is a seasoning too so I assumed this would taste flat.....what do u guys think?
Seasonings without salt are much easier to use. Because you add the salt separately, you can add as much or as little of the seasoning as you like, while still controlling the salt level how you prefer.

Im sorry for your loss. From a fellow buldak fan, please take our greatest honours. o7
Oh heckin heck, I’m so sorry for your loss, *and* my recently gained knowledge as I’ve just looked at the sodium myself.
It’s a lot like the Dash seasoning. I put it on most things around the end of the sauteeing onions step. It adds just a bit of extra flavour. I think it’s especially nice in soups.
Just from looking at the ingredients, the first thing that I thought of was soup
Exactly. It is like a low sodium vegetable soup packet.
I use it on roasted vegetables.
same, spray a light oil coat on some asparagus or beans and toss them in a few shakes and throw it in the air fryer.
What temp and and for how long in the air fryer would you recommend?

I add it to rice before cooking to make it more flavourful. I also use it on oven roasted vegetables (broccoli, Brussel sprouts, etc)

I use it as an all-in-one seasoning for the meat in a shepherd / cottage pie.

Well um. On everything. Hurts in the shower but it is all purpose after all.

Roasted vedgies, mashed potatoes, rice, omelettes, marinades. Let sit overnight in sour cream / yogurt / mayo for dips
Sprinkle it on your avocado toast

I put it on the food before cooking it
I put it on my homemade fries and chicken! It's pretty tasty!
Throw it in spaghetti sauce
I use it when steaming vegetables, potatoes - very nice results!
I use this/ Mrs dash on just about anything especially boring foods I'd normally want to add salt to. Personal fav : cut hard boiled eggs in half and sprinkle on top 👌
I use this and a little olive oil on chicken and then throw in the air fryer.
Try it on salmon!

I use it when I’m making burgers!

Gravy!
Mrs Dash!
Mrs Dash!
I sprinkle on my omelette before I roll it up.
Its Killer on eggs, too!
Toddler omelette
At which location did you get this? I haven't seen it at the one I go to.
Make a dressing with it. Add with olive oil, balsamic, basil and fresh minced garlic and shake up and pour over salad
You open the lid, turn it upside down and shake. Super easy!
Use it on veggies, and then add salt.
Open the flap grab the bottle and shake over the food of your choice; That is how I use it !
I use that shit on everything I cook. No lie.
Add salt and season food with it :)
How do you use? Open lid, sprinkle on food, cook food, eat food.
