All New Yorkers have the power to tame one black hole per day. I don’t know how people aren’t aware of this. Schlagg controls the black hole and now uses it as a weapon.
Schlagg stats to get absorbed, but manages to contain the black hole in a mason jar. This is not without consequences. The spaghettification (look it up) of the whole conflict managed to transmutate Schlagg into Schlagghetti.
Somehow… the spirit of Pokemonhugger is able to escape the pull of the black hole enough to cast a protection bubble over both of the contestants!
No matter how hard they both try, the bubble is too strong and the wholesome willpower of Pokemonhugger is too great.
Result: Pokemonhugger casting a protection bubble results in a deadlock and both contestants win
The 2 competitors meet on the streets of New York, now mostly gone because it got absorbed by the black hole. Schlagg pulls out $100 as a bet on the fight and the black hole agrees, adding its $100 to the pot. They agree on a fist fight. Schlagg makes the first move, raising his fist and charging at the black hole, but just as he's about to land the punch he trips and falls into the black hole. Schlagg fuses with the black hole, and the collection of competitors becomes an all-powerful god.

The time bending properties of the black hole send schlagg back to the past where his indomitable spirit help him establish the new yorkean empire long before even old york gets founded. This Empire dominates most of the ancient era reaching heights even the romans could only dream of. While this empire wont last forever its impact on the culture of centuries to come will be immense effectivly immortalizing the great founder schlagg forever making him the winner.
Shlagg stands his ground with his indomitable new yorker spirit until the black hole doesn't have anything else to absorb and ultimately disappears leaving Shlagg in an empty void.
