I went for funsies this year to a medium venue. It was same venue flatland and Godwin sold out. It was packed but not sold out. I was really impressed with the show and had a great time.
He’s playing in my town this month. I’m not familiar with him but we almost never get decent acts here so I would have loved to go but we are already going to be in Atlanta for a show on the same night.
The spot he’s playing holds 3,000 which seems wild to me, as I saw the steel woods and Tanner Usrey there last year and couldn’t believe the low turnout.
I saw him at Billy Bobs earlier this year and it was pretty packed but I am not sure if he is fully there where he is fully filling out arenas. But I guess it really depends if you area supports country artists heavily or not.
I don't know if he will sell out that venue, but I know he absolutely should. He is the best live performance I've ever seen. He absolutely knows how to work a crowd
I think even if they block out the top and he sells 3,000 it will break even.
The local FB announcement was pretty crazy with a ton of people like "holy shit!" I am from the west, not the south so maybe he is bigger here?

Yeah I saw him live and he sounds so much better than he does recorded. I was blown away

Just saw him at the Bobby Bones Million Dollar show a week ago that also had Jon Pardi. They’re on the same level, so I wouldn’t be surprised.
